A very disappointing Mother’s Day tea. My husband and our two boys decided to treat me to high tea 2 days before Mother’s Day as the weekend was already sold out. We drove out from Chilliwack for it and I was very much looking forward to it. Things went downhill as soon as we were seated though. There was only one server. She didn’t say hello or greet us. She just put one tea pot on the table and started to walk away. I’ve been to high tea other places and am used to getting a tea selection menu so I thought this was strange and said we hadn’t ordered any tea yet. She said everyone gets the same thing. After a while she then brought our 3 tier tray of food. Again I found this very odd. Most places would first tell you whats included, make sure you don’t have any allergies or dietary restrictions. Not here. When we booked it we told them we had two kids so I thought there would be more kid friendly options, but it was all the same. The savoury food didn’t taste very good. Scones were dry. The sweet treats were decent at least. Not once did the server come and check on us or ask if we needed anything. We had to flag her down and ask for more tea when our pot ran out. She just added hot water (apparently paying $46 per person does not afford a second pot of tea). It was super weak so we asked for another tea bag. She looked annoyed but brought us an open bag with loose tea in it and just stuck it on the table. I didn’t make the move to add it to the pot myself so she got the hint and grabbed it and stuffed it in. We were also out of milk and sugar but she walked away before we could ask. When she finally came back we again had to flag her down and ask for more. By this time most of the other guests had left and she was clearing tables so we felt rushed to chug the tea and get out before the next time slot of guests arrived. It was not the lovely afternoon tea I had expected at all. Overpriced for what you get and bad service. We won’t be back.

I actually wish I could give NO stars…. We went here for high tea today - it was my husband’s first high tea ever and we were so looking forward to it. We made a reservation 6 weeks prior. When we arrived, we were seated and our 3-tier food tray was already on the table. Having had high tea many times before I found this a bit odd. The server did not describe the contents of each tier, as is custom and it was also very apparent that the tray had been there for some time. The food was not fresh, the cream cheese was runny, the bread stale and the egg salad was starting to dry. So we were seated and it was a full 7 minutes before a server acknowledged us and then said that they had run out of tea and it would be another 5 minutes until they had tea available. We had nearly finished our food before tea finally arrived about 25 minutes after we had been seated —— FOR HIGH TEA BOOKED 6 WEEKS AGO. This was the most disappointing high tea I’ve ever had. I don’t know how they can justify $44 per person for ridiculously small portions and nothing of the “high tea experience” you’d expect for that price. I cannot recommend this place at all unfortunately. Save your hard-earned money and go elsewhere.

I ordered high tea for take out and wow was I blown away! They made little baskets for each person and the food was delicious. I have had high tea at their location as well and am never disappointed. But with covid it was so lovely to have take out as an option for my cousins and I to treat our grandma to high tea. Was so happy with what we got and will definitely be back!

Just left this place I do not recommend coming here. For $75 I got a few different peices of bread and very little dessert choices, also didn't even get to pick what kind of tea I wanted, food was bland, and had no taste it was my daughter's Birthday and it was very disappointing she was upset and barely ate anything. For what they charge for very little food not happy at all. $75 for $10 of food wow

Had a very lovely high tea with my girlfriends during our book club meeting. First time at this location and it was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was adorable and they sell the most amazing and cute looking clothing! My friends and I stayed behind after to try some stuff in and get a few items. Will definitely come back again for high tea.

Enjoyed high tea here. They only had one type of tea, so there wasn't a choice, but thankfully it was cream of Earl Grey which is my favourite. The atmosphere of the tea room is wonderful and provides the perfect ambience for high tea. The sandwiches were delectable, the scone and cream were delicious and the desserts were tasty. It was fun to try a good variety and to enjoy the atmosphere.

WOW! The high tea was amazing. My favourite savoury bite was the tomato pesto finger sandwich. My favourite sweet was the scone with the clotted cream and raspberry jam. Absolutely delicious. Very cute place with unique clothing and home decor. We were visiting from Ontario and doing a #chewonthis food tour. A great way to start our day!
