Little New York Estate - Longview

This is a tiny trailer park near Black Diamond. Very cute and clean.. great iews.

It's a trailer park located 60km outside of Calgary in a rural "Village" that if you blink driving 50km/hr; you will miss it. There is a monthly fee of $375 and have no idea why or what the payment is for: there is no snow removal in the trailer park, there is a rut or sink hole in between two trailers that extends from the Laneway and runs parallel to the trailers and into the lot behind us that is abandon due to environmental testing as the only house behind us sits on what I'm assuming and have been told an old gas station - so there was something that ran along the side of the two trailers and was used on the lot being tested but yet I've seen only one crew once. The sink hole makes the one trailer sink to one side and requires Jack's to keep it level. There is a park for kids within the trailer park, but its been cornered off with orange plastic fencing since I can recall and is actually a 'no entry' section of the trailer park - id tear down the park and put another two trailers on the spot for an extra $750 a month if I owned the park bit that's just me. It's quiet, peaceful and everybody water cooler talks here so it can be a toxic environment (no pun intended) if you partake in such things, but if you don't and you don't care what idle chat is happening around you then you can enjoy the peace and silence and your a stone throw away from a store (no major shopping here only convenient shopping at convienece prices) and Black Diamond is only 18km away for groceries and all other shopping along with major department stores in Okotoks not far either. Great place to relax and not involve yourself in 'Village' politics (it would win an Emmy for outstanding comedy I'm sure of it) and if your into astronomy your in the middle of nowhere so its perfect for looking up to the sky on those clear nights. If I new what the $375 was paying for as I see no services within this trailer park I'd give it 3 stars but I don't plus the environmental factors leave me with a sour taste but overall a good getaway from the city.
