Hi everyone! Meet Imelda Turner, the Director/Educator and entrepreneur at Little Launchers Academy of Cochrane. Imelda has over 10 years of Childcare experience in various settings and in Early Childhood Education nearing 7 years. Imelda finished her bachelor’s degree in Education and had 5 years of high school teaching experience in the Philippines. Imelda received her Child Development Supervisor (Level 3) through the Alberta Human Services educational equivalencies. As an educator, she takes pride in knowing that Little Launchers’ philosophy reflects her own values in achieving excellence and quality care.
Part of her role as the Director/Educator is to ensure children a safe and fun environment and design age-appropriate activities. She believes that a combinatory play is the essential feature of a productive thought.
