Little Cactus South Daycare

Such a blessing to have my son went to Little Cactus daycare. Both Ms Jane and Ms Vicky, their passion, heart, effort, creativity just amazed me. The daycare itself is very clean and have a large area for my son to play and learn around with. Ms Jane make the best lunch, her cooking skill is very good and my son love her food!!! I would highly recommend this daycare center to anyone. I will be sending my second son to Little Cactus daycare once he turns 1 =)

I know I have chosen the right daycare from the Day One I sent my son to this daycare. Everything here is absolutely impressed and satisfying: teachers’ Interaction with kids, learning material, various kinds of activities, daycare environment and facilities, delicious meals, etc... Most importantly, my son has been taken good care by the daycare, and learn new things throughout the day. I don’t need to worry about anything. I notice he has some improvement given that he has only been there for a month, such as having a habit to clean up after each play, greeting, new vocabulary, etc... I really appreciate the Daycare and Jane is also very dedicated to her role. My only regret is I should have sent my son to this daycare earlier :)

The best daycare that I know of. Changed my opinion on small day cares and how they should be. They really go the extra mile to make every kid feel good. It had been very difficult for my daughter and me during the first two weeks of her going to day care. She has been with me every day and night since she came to the world, and it was extremely challenging for her to experience the separation. However, the care takers/teachers at Little Cactus South had been so much more caring and helpful than I could ever thought. They asked for her preferred dietary and sleep routine. Ms. Jane personally held her for hours during her naps for the first few weeks to make sure she's getting enough rest (she wouldn't lie down on her mat for her naps, because she isn't used to the new environment) and basically just trying everything to make her feel comfortable and at home, including make her favorite food and snacks. My gratitude is beyond any words can describe; awesome awesome day care.

We toured many daycares, both big and small before deciding to go with Little Cactus, and I have been very happy with my decision. The teachers, Miss Jane and Miss Eva, are very friendly and responsible. They helped my son adapt quickly to the new environment and schedule and I can tell he enjoys going to daycare very much. I love the lunch provided at Little Cactus, it's always a well balanced diet and looks very yummy. My son has eczema and Miss Jane has been very careful with what he can and cannot eat, and I am extremely thankful that she would go through the trouble of making him special "eczema safe" lunch. The activities at Little Cactus are very educational and fun as well. Last but not the least, Miss Jane communicates with us parents regularly and is very responsive. I love how we would get pictures and videos throughout the day so we know what daycare life is like for my son, and the pictures are precious memories we can always look back to. 5 stars!!

My son has been in this daycare for three months now and he is loving it. The property is clean with a good sized backyard for the kids to have outdoor activities. Ms. Jane and Ms. Vicky – they truly care about the kids, they have consistently provided a level of care and compassion that has put us at ease. Most importantly, it has been so reassuring to know that while I am at work, my son is in a safe and secured environment. Little Cactus Daycare is a really nice place for our son to develop and grow educationally and socially, knowing he will continue to flourish in such a caring and fun environment. Overall it has been an amazing experience for us with Little Cactus. P.S. Ms. Jane is a good cook she makes delicious meals for the kids all the time. Highly recommended.

Little Cactus South Daycare is by far the best daycare we've seen, and my wife and I have interviewed many before we decided on Little Cactus. Our little one has been there for over four months now and he absolutely loves it there. We've noticed a lot of positive changes like learning to clean up after himself and put away toys. His social and verbal skills improved by leaps and bounds. Jane and Eva are very passionate educators who truly care about the wellbeing of the kids. Everyday Jane takes the time to freshly prepare healthy meals and snacks, as well as taking many pictures and videos and sending them to each parents, giving us a peace of mind. There are also many daily fun and educational activities like group singing, arts and crafts, learning the alphabets and numbers. And when the weather is good or decent, kids can play in the fully fenced backyard where there's a large play area filled with ride-along cars and bikes, and safe climbing aparatus. All in all, we feel very safe having our child attend Little Cactus Daycare, especially with Jane following the strict health safety rules and keeping the place spotless. We highly recommend this daycare for any parents looking for a clean, safe, and well run facility.

My daughter has been going to little cactus since September this year. Jane is very responsible and caring. She does follow up with us every night, and inform us on my daughter's behaviour. Since daughter is very naughty, Jane also give us recommendation on how to correct her. It's very encouraging since we are new parents. We also get a bunch of videos and photos of my daughter, which is awesome since a lot of the other daycare does not provide. Overall, everything is really good, but the waiting time for this daycare is way too long. Remember to register once you are pregnant. I also wanted to add to the one star, little old English sheepdog, comment, as Google does not allow me to reply her message directly. You should do your own research, before you can make any assumptions. If you go to the bc government website, there's a child care map where you can search for all of the licensed daycare. Little cactus is clearly listed up there. Secondly, I have make lots of contact with other daycare, and I do not get call back a lot of times. And a few of them just straight up told me that they are full and does not accept any new registration. I do think you should apologize after making a false assumptions without proof to back up your claims. Before calling someone else condescending, maybe you should take a look at your own words first.

Little Cactus South Daycare is a wonderful daycare. Both Miss Jane and Miss Eva are very friendly and they care about their students. Miss Jane usually notify the parents about what activities they will learn on the first day of the month so that we as the parents know what our child are learning for the month. Also, each month Miss Jane will collect the daily worksheet my son does and put them into a booklet and hand it back out to us. Lastly, my son usually don't have much appetite at home but at the daycare, he loves eating every single meals. I would highly recommended this daycare for anyone and make sure you line up you line up early as they have a very limited space!
