★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I participated in the Comprehensive 5 Day Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Training with Ed and PJ in Langley, BC (May 2019). I was unaware of them until my colleague invited me to join her at this training. It was a game changer that has "shaped" me both personally and professionally - see what I did there? As someone who is part way through their M.A. in Counselling Psychology and who currently works with adolescents, this training has built on the foundational education of CBT I had already received to expand my toolkit with an evidence-based therapy that is doing highly effective work with many different populations experiencing pervasive emotional dysregulation. The days flew by, and I know that my colleagues and I all feel so grateful for the growth and knowledge we have experienced. I cannot recommend Lifted Counselling and Consulting enough. They were methodical, organized and taught in a way that helps you retain a LOT of information. The snacks are also amazing!
