About Me

As an author, counsellor, artist, communicator, wife, mother and grandmother. I have had the privilege to walk with and appreciate people all over the world. Having travelled to Phillippines, Costa Rica and Mexico to serve others, I have seen how challenges are not unique to one culture.

We all face our own trauma, fear, and disappointments that challenge our very identity. I believe that love truly covers over a multitude of deficits. You are stronger than you think! You can overcome every challenge and every lie that sets itself up against you. You may need new tools but I can partner with you and be your greatest encourager and cheerleader along the way. My strength is being a pillar of hope while motivating and encouraging others along their journey.

My experiences illuminated my personal growth, but I soon discovered, it would not be the route planned to fulfil my life's purpose. Every non-fulfilling job was to prepare me for this very moment in my life.

My combination of education in counselling, trauma and early childhood experiences solidified for me that there must be a holistic approach to heading. If one aspect of your being is lacking then you can not be whole. Body, mind and spirit need to experience healing to live a fully abundant life.

While on my journey of personal healing and restoration, I’ve ultimately been led to a career as an author, holistic counsellor and a person passionate to share hope and a lover of life and people.

I’m passionate about assisting others through life’s difficulties.

My goal is to help encourage them as they reclaim their peace and step into their purposeful life.

I’m a Canadian. Born in Manitoba, but in my heart, I am Mexi-Cana-Italian! Italian by heritage, Mexican by falling in love with the people after living in Mexico City for a number of years. I adore spending time with my daughters Isabella, Camela, Julia; my granddaughter Winter Rose and sharing my life with my beloved husband Nathan, my greatest cheerleader and encourager.

I like to describe myself as an introvert and possessing a gentle soul with a loud laugh! I’ve come to realize that the hardships I’ve faced are meant to be a testimony to others. I can’t live a private life and do what God’s called me to do at the same time. Public transparency is completely outside of my comfort zone, but I know that I’ve been equipped by God for the work that lies ahead of me. I’ve come to enjoy incorporating my life experiences in a relatable way, advocating self-discovery, healing and self-love into my work.

I approach life with an open mind, never passing judgement on those around me. spread a little love and empathy. We’ve all been through something.
