A year ago my car got involved in an accident. The front of my car got smashed as a result of a full size track backed on my car on a traffic light. I called Lexus Canada and asked them for the advice where should I get my car fixed. They referred me to one of the Lexus authorized repair center where my car was fixed. A week before an accident I serviced my car at authorized Lexus dealer. No any outstanding issues have been reported. Recently I brought my car to Costco for an oil change and tire rotation. I was advised by the mechanic that all of my four tires were wasted as a result of the poor alignment after the car accident. I called the body shop where my car was fixed originally and asked if they provided an alignment at the time of the repair. An answer was negative. They failed to explain me why. They refused to cooperate and asked me to not call them anymore. I have got a couple of independent opinions from the different sources including Lexus authorized dealers on an alignment after front car damage. It is a must. I called Lexus Canada and advise them about a problem because of their authorized dealer body shop mechanic failed to provide an alignment for my car. First I spoke to the manager of the Lexus Canada guest service Kathleen. She told me that she is not a car mechanic and cannot help me… I send an e-mail to the Lexus Canada CEO Robert Tsang and Toyota Canada CEO Larry Hutchinson asking for help. I have got a phone call from the manager of the office of the president of the Toyota-Lexus Canada by the name Sabrina. I was explained by her that Lexus Canada is not liable for any mistakes made by their Lexus authorized repair centers. She also advised me that now if I want to confirm that my all four tires wasted because of the lack of an alignment I need to do a diagnostic appointment and I have to pay $169.00. I was trying to place the request to talk to the President of Toyota-Lexus Canada Larry Hutchinson but I was advised that neither she nor Larry Hutchinson are the car mechanics and they do not now too much about the cars??? Isn’t it sophisticated when the manager of the office of the president of Toyota and the president of the Toyota Canada do not know too much about the cars? I was left to absorb the payment for new tires and an alignment as the result of the unprofessional approach of the Lexus authorized dealer and the office of the CEO of Toyota- Lexus Canada. I am an essential worker and I have enough stress at work every day because of the Covid-19 situation. I do not appreciate additional frustrations I have got from the office of the president of the Toyota-Lexus Canada. I would not be buying any Lexus or Toyota after the way I was treated…

I just got the sports model 350 last year. Got service from North west Lexus in Brampton. Total millage of vehicle less than 28000 Km. Today when was doing service and explained the noises and vibration during break . They are saying that rotors need to replaced. I am so upset that a brand like Lexus ,the rotors need to be changed in such a small millage . experience is really bad.

I have owned five Lexus cars in the last fifteen years. The latest car, an IS250, I bought used -- Lexus certified -- and bought the extended 200K warranty to go with it. Since buying the car, I have had nothing but trouble. It started with the rear differential blowing up. That fortunately was covered otherwise it would have cost $4,000. Then the radio went. I was told it wasn’t covered even though the warranty said all electrical was covered. When I asked them to explain that they couldn't. Then, last month, my fuel door broke. Was that covered, I asked? Of course not. So there goes another $500. After I posted this review, Lexus Canada reached out to me and made it right. And I want to be clear that my local dealership has been excellent. They have lobbied Lexus repeatedly on my behalf. But when I bought a Lexus, I simply didn’t expect to have these kinds of issues in the first place.

Hi. I wish here zero ⭐️ ?I bought Rx 350 from North West Lexus in June 2021. Less then a year in March 2022 I notice rust coming out from all 4 doors. I went to the dealership on April 12 2022 and was told since I don't have warranty on it so I have to pay $665 plus taxes to fix it. This is total ripoff .So they sold me a rusty vehicle by waxing it and conceded it ?? How come rust was not checked in 155 point inspection ?

Six month ago, I purchased a new Lexus NX 300. I just learned that the map of the navigation system is completely outdated, not covering the Calgary ring road which is at least three years in place. This resulted in a delay when trying to go for a doctoral appointment. A car classified as luxury has a software for the map which is outdated by far. Hard to believe. Even worse, I never received a response on this review :-(

I want to share my personal experience with Lexus Canada corporate office about the theft of my Lexus RX 350.Today morning around 5:30 am my car was stolen from my driveway I am sharing my story because I bought this car which was a very high end car which had so many safety and anti theft features, but unfortunately nothing worked they took the car within five minutes not a single beep or alarm was heard . I’m still in shock that these days this crime has been reported rapidly and no action has been taken by the official authorities, I would not recommend anyone to buy this brand of SUV as there are no safety and theft standards. I want to report a complaint to Lexus head office Canada that how come without the original keys someone took the car and we cannot even track and it didn’t stopped automatically . I will make awareness of this type of crime and discuss with my MP, a very bad experience with the Lexus company indeed.

I would like to make an awareness of Lexus security system. Many of you know, that Lexus is one of the top wanted vehicle to be stolen. Lexus doesn't want to take actions in improving their security system. So let me ask "Why?" should we choose Lexus vehicles? Because of the comfort, reliability? Lexus vehicle can be stolen of your driveway within 3 minutes (that's how fast our vehicle got stolen). People that steal, they don't use your key, the come prepared in advance. How? Well they read/ copy your VIN # in advance(from your car (days earlier)), and for sure they have someone at the dealership that is also involved in cutting a key to start the vehicle. The security system, is not reliable. Avoid buying Lexus SUV to avoid any hassle and headache.

Lexus and Toyota has a reputation for making quality products that are reliable while backing their products and addressing major underlying design flaws they have made in their fault. However, I don't believe any of this. We've had nothing but Toyota and Lexus vehicles over the past 25 years and we've had many major issues. My 2006 Lexus IS 350 has the infamous problem with its dashboard and door panels for many years. A simple Google search or from the Lexus forums, or YouTube goes over this extensively. Lexus USA took attention to this concern and the people there have had replacement panels for free for years. However, Lexus Canada refuses to acknowledge this concern to this day. The material of these panels from vehicles from the early 2000's to 2010 for many Lexus models are horrible. Under direct sunlight, especially in the summer, simply touching the dashboard leaves permanent marks and imbeds dust into the material, and cracks along the dashboard and is sticky overall. Also, would get intermitted airbag light B1861 that was addressed in the Warranty enhancement program W34 that ended in 2020. But, was never mailed anything about this and now I'm stuck with this design flaw as well. Also, we had a 2007 Camry that had the infamous oil consumption caused by poorly designed oil rings, and we were never contacted by Toyota regarding a recall for this. When we turned to Toyota, they would do nothing about it. Spent a lot of money after the oil consumption destroyed the catalytic converters and then for a new engine. Also recently, our 2016 Camry hybrid has a P0420 for a possible bad catalytic converter as well. This car doesn't burn any oil, how can a cat go bad so soon? Have to get this looked at but this car's out of warranty as well. It's a shame that Toyota and Lexus Canada corporate holds no value to their long term customers and refuses to acknowledge their design flaws.
