Level Vancouver Yaletown - Seymour

My partner and I chose to stay at Level furnished living while we sorted out our permanent living arrangements. I want to share our great experience that we had, because it was honestly the best. Although we were only there for a month and a half, Level felt like home and the people that worked there felt like family. Level was super responsible, and we felt very safe with all the Covid-19 protocols being followed. I recommend Level to friends and family all the time. The rooftop pool and gym are first class, and the location could not have been better. The furnished unit had just about everything we could possibly need during our stay so that was super convenient! Cesar at the reception really stood out! He went above and beyond for us and even knew us by name. He is one of the most genuine and positive people I have had the pleasure of getting to know. My partner and I agree, that Cesar made us feel so welcomed to Vancouver and made our stay at Level extra special. Excellent experience highly recommend.

The people at the front desk were really nice and really helpful. The apartment has anything we need (dishwasher, washing machine, etc.). We appreciate the hot pool on the 6th floor. We also appreciate that they didn’t charge for the parking even if where not BC resident. The place was super clean.

Decent stay, clean, had what we needed. Good location. Downside was that their front door call system was not working when we arrived so we had to wait out front for around 15 minutes, calling and buzzing without any answer. Slightly annoying when we just wanted to check in. Rooms were sometimes loud from the gym, and possibly a noise from the elevator. Also seemed to be a big ask to get another 2 coffee pods for our second morning.

Absolutely fantastic month long stay at Level Seymour! Great, safe location just a few blocks from the heart of Yaletown with all shops and restaurants within easy reach. The staff is wonderful and the unit itself was spacious, clean, modern, and had a fantastic view of the city. From the booking with Ivan and Kourtney, to the actual front desk staff of Sarah and Ben -- the service was excellent. The only two things I would improve: 1) the refrigerator which seemed to only keep the bottom half cold (despite engineers coming in to take a look a couple times) and 2) the wifi was often slow during peak hours dropping down to less than 2 Mbps up and down which makes zoom tough (plugged hardwire into the ethernet and that solved the issue). All in all though - highly recommended! Would certainly stay here again the next time I'm in Vancouver.

We stayed in Level Vancouver twice, in Feb and March 2022 as part of a trip to Canada. Our stay massively exceeded our expectations, which were high! The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean and with great amenities - especially: washer and separate drier, fully specced kitchen, on-site gym and on-side parking. The gym in particular is a cut above what you normally get in hotels and apartments complexes - it’s spacious, with great equipment including spin bikes and rowing machines. It also has a sauna. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful e.g. if we needed more coffee pods they would bring it straight up. Staying at levels was so much better than getting an anonymous hotel room - it really felt like having our own swanky apartment right in the heart of Vancouver. Would recommend to anyone.

BAIT AND SWITCH - 0 star review. This place is deceitful and disgusting; they do NOT operate in good faith. We have held off on this review and contacted management on Nov.13 hoping to come to a reasonable solution. However, as of Nov. 20, they have not made any efforts to reconcile this issue. Our room was significantly different (smaller) than photos. Front desk staff (two young men, we believe in 20s-30s) working at around 7pm on Nov.12 made excuses, were rude, and acted offended when we asked extra questions (about parking, checkout, etc). They also claimed that our room had the same square footage as the pictures we saw online even though our room had no balcony and the bathroom was very clearly smaller (see pictures). When we asked them to tell us the square footage of the two rooms, they refused. When we asked for an extra cushion, they rudely pointed out that we were not allowed to have over 4 guests in our room (which we never intended on doing- simply wanted a cushion to add a little comfort on the tiny couch). We just wanted to celebrate a birthday night in downtown as a couple and they completely ruined the experience. Honestly, we just want to warn folks looking for a nice evening in downtown to cancel your booking immediately and find another place. NOTE: The well-lit three photos are what we expected. The other five photos show the room we got. We do not have complaints about the bedroom and closet- the main issue is how the room we got is clearly smaller than what was advertised (nonexistent balcony and much smaller kitchen/sitting area and bathroom).

Staying at Seymour’s Level Hotel was a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making sure that all my requests were fulfilled efficiently. From housekeeping to simple printing requests, all was done fast and accordingly. A special thank you to Ben at reception for his exceptionally professional and friendly service.
