★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was insulted, vexed and harassed by the racist pig lawyer assigned to me by Laval Legal Aid. He asked me why I didn't go to see some English-speaking lawyer in Westmount, Hampstead, Cote-St-Luc, NDG, DDO, Beaconsfield, the West island, Montreal West or any other wealthy English-speaking enclave on Montreal Island. When I stood my ground and reminded him I live in Laval, he asked about my French test scores at school! He refused to see me any further as a client and cut me loose to face the hearing at an administrative tribunal all by myself. Naturally, I lost and when I subsequently complained to the Laval Bar, they defended him. The Montreal Bar told me to find a lawyer who speaks my language and refused to admonish their racist lawyer. The hearing for which he was to represent me was scheduled for the next day. I showed up on my own without a lawyer and lost my appeal, naturally.
