Utilized Legacy for two years. My team works in agriculture and needs a pretty quick turn around. Set expectations. If you are expecting a quick turnaround haul expect to pay for it (i.e. book on an on call driver). If you do not have someone booked for on call, understand that even when you book a day in advance (or several), they will send you a driver when they have one available. Ask for the drivers phone number; the controller does his best with the information he has, but in my experience, a lot of time was wasted, sitting and waiting for a driver that was supposed to show up, but had not yet left the shop. Be very specific with the pickup location. In my case, I had mentioned where I wanted the pick-up. The driver went to one of our companies other facilities instead. The kicker, we started getting billed from the time the driver left the incorrect location he started at. At about 11:30 am the driver arrives. We pick a spot to load the equipment. For the next 2.5 hours the driver experiments trying to unhook his double drop deck trailer. This is no fault of the drivers, he obviously didn't have the proper training to use the equipment. He was a super nice guy and a quick learner, once he figured it out we were good to go (did 2 sites after we got going, things ran smoothly). So at this point an additional 3.5 hours has been added onto my teams day (an additional hour to get to our site from the other location) + 2.5 hours of the operator trying to figure out how to work their equipment. Not a big deal, but once again, I get charged for this. For those interested, the cost per hour of the driver is $100 x 3.5 hours; the cost to my team at this point is $350 incurred by legacy + 3 peoples wages. That's a lot of money being spent because of someone else's lack of organization. So I get the invoice, and take a look. As I said above, I was charged ~$350 to cover Legacy's mistakes. I call the dispatcher I have been dealing with to remedy the invoice, because this is definitely a mistake, right? Unfortunately, the dispatcher sheds all accountability, says they will take a look at the invoice, contact the owners of the company and set up a conference call. They also said to use someone else if we don't like the service. I'll provide updates once things are resolved. For those interested and in the K-W area, if you need a haul or a tow I recommend Active towing.

New manufacturing company start up in Canada so we at Landstar decided on Legacy to move the machinery into the facility, their team of drivers were professional and on time. Customer requested Legacy Express to be the main carrier from this point forward. Thanks Again to the Legacy team!
