β β β β β I have no idea why all the reviews here are 1/5 stars. In my opinion restaurant is pretty GREAT: good food and good service.
I came here twice, first time for morning dim sum and second time for dinner. Dim sum is highly mediocre (hence the 4/5 star) with small portions and bland congee. I do recommend the fried calamari though.
However, the dinner package (I think it was one rice/noodle and 4 dishes you can pick + a complimentary LOBSTER and dessert) was EXCELLENT! The teppenyaki meat was so tender and well-seasoned, highly recommend. The packaged meal came to something like $90 before tips, and the portion was enough for 5 of us PLUS extra left-overs.
We had a good time having dinner there; the servers were really nice and attentive.
Plus: I always like it when a chinese restaurant promptly refills your empty tea kettle

β β β β β Definite value as you get a lot for the price. We ordered the special (see back of menu where you can choose 4 dishes from a limited selection) and they threw in a small lobster and half a chicken for free (so 6 for the price of 4). All this for under $90. However, quality was lacking. Quantity over quality, but if you're hungry and on a budget, this place may be worth checking out.

Decent portion with flavour.

β β β β β Some dishes were a hit or miss. Entrees were disappointing, some dimsum dishes were better than others. Definitely decent dimsum option in the white rock area, though there are better places elsewhere.

β β β β β Poor hygiene & bad customer service. I ordered some take out food today, total 5 dishes worth $80+. I asked for bawls as we will be eating the food at an outdoor work site. The front desk staff said they donβt have take out bawl and wasnβt going to be helpful at all. After I continue to ask if they have anything that could serve as a bawl or plate, she said they have take out boxes. So I asked for 3, and paid $2 for the take out boxes. Ended up she brought me 2 small boxes. And I told her I asked for 3. She just grabbed a near by dirty scissor to cut the middle of the boxes and turned the 2 boxes into 4 pieces. I was shocked when I saw her did that without even cleaning the scissors first, especially during COVID time! I told her this would not work, we will put food in there. And I told her if she wants to charge me more money for these take out boxes, I can pay more, even though I think these should have been provided from the first place. I paid $4 for 4 small plastic takeout boxes. Throughout the whole time she was reluctant to be helpful to the situation. I hope she could realize some people ordering take out food, really are eating outside and donβt have access to dinnerware. And hope she can have more sense of hygiene, when working around food. Wonβt be ordering again.

β β β β β Iβm surprised when my friend brought me to this gem dim-sum Chinese restaurant in White Rock here! The food choice is varied and delicious! The place is not vast, yet warm and adequately furnished without being too lavish!
Certainly will come again more often since I frequent the White Rick pier often and this is en route?

β β β β β This is very good restaurant for Cantonese Dish, if you like Dianxin, you maybe come to try it in South surrey. Nice and clean environment, tasty Cantonese dishes and Dianxin, suitable for family and friends gathering and party.
