β β β β β I ordered online for delivery and my order qualified for free delivery however my order was split into two orders, I was charged for delivery on each. I only ordered the extra items to receive free shipping. To top it all off one of the items is defective. Very poor way to do business and this is a company I use to recommend to people, not anymore.

Beware, as of December 27th Lee Valley does not allow store "browsing" or more than a few customers in the store at once. In spite of big box stores like home Depot being at full capacity, Lee Valley has made their own rules beyond the Ontario guidelines to the detriment of their own business. After driving across town and excited to shop at this store, we were scolded for "browsing" and asked exactly what we wanted. Not sure if we had a particularly rude employee but we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing him by being ready to spend hundreds on hardware. Not sure I will come back after our experience.

β β β β β I love this store. As a DIY construction and woodworking enthusiast this place is awesome. They have a great selection of Festool and hand tools. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service is top notch. Great selection of gardening supplies and tools as well.

β β β β β Excellent quality products. If you don't like it just return it! No questions asked! I have been shopping there since 1981 and can count on one hand the number of items I have returned. They are primarily a woodworking tool co. But have branched out to gardening, kitchen and now leather tools.

The folks at Lee Valley always have good advice and a pleasant disposition.
They also have parts for many hobbies. I am not a woodworker but am always in the store getting shims, and stop collars, and gardening stuff, gifts for the hard to buy for, and the quality miscellaneous 'stuff' that I cannot find anywhere else.
Highly recommended.
