★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came on a weekday so it wasn't crowded at all, but I heard it gets packed with a long line if you come on weekends, so if you want to avoid the long line, I highly recommend visiting here on a weekday if possible.
Their donuts were great! The sugar coated one and honey dip were my favourite. I think the simple ones are the best ones!

Light, chewy, deep flavours, perfect level of sweetness. DANGEROUS in the best way possible. Honey dip is a must try. Bavarian donut has really nice vanilla filling. If you like cakey donut, try sugar bear. Good luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a must-try on Granville Island! Went during the week and there was no line, and an amazing selection of donuts to choose from. We tried the sugared cake donut, red velvet, and dutch chocolate. The sugared cake was by far our favourite, so flavourful and really nailed the cake consistency and flavour! Staff was super friendly and prices are good for the size of the donuts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heard about this famous donut joint in Granville Island. Picked up half a dozen donuts as they have wide variety to choose from. Their honey and jelly versions still taste better than those fancy type of donuts. A bit pricey for donuts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are really good, soft, tasty donuts. However, I don’t understand the lineup? Even though they are good donuts, looking at the line and amount of people waiting to eat them, I had my expectations wayyyy up. I wouldn’t say I was disappointed but I was also not entirely impressed.
I was happy, however, that they had bavarian cream donuts (haven’t seen it anywhere else in Vancouver). That one was my favorite for sure!

The donuts are really good and I visited many good donut places in NY but this place is the best of best. It’s old fashioned donut style so keep that in mind if you thought of trendy donuts with various kinds of cream inside.
Anyway, I would get in the line to get the donuts again!
You would not regret!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lee's Donuts are the real deal! They're definitely worth a 20-minute lineup. The staff are friendly and patient no matter how long it takes you to decide which donuts you want.
Each time I go, I find new donut flavours to try. My recent favourites are the honey dew cake donut and Bavarian cream donut.
I'd love to see Lee's Donuts add a few awesome vegan donuts to their lineup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These are really good donuts but probably a bit overhyped. There was a really long line out the front door and from what I’ve heard, that’s usually the case. There were lots of really delicious looking flavours to choose from. We ended up picking three: New York Cheesecake, Raspberry Jelly, and Honey Dip. Overall, they weren’t the best donuts I’ve ever had but still pretty good and worth trying. I also think the service was great, with the staff being very efficient and friendly.
