β β β β β The lady owner is super nice and kind her customer service went above and beyond. The freshest makgoli you can ever find in Canada. Love all the flavors but if I had to pick only one...then the chesnut one is my favorite. Little bit of that nutty flavor and slight sweetness at the end...yum! you should try their makgoli when you get a chance to visit Surrey. I will def repurchase 100%!!!

β β β β β Came to Van all the way from Seattle - part of it is because I want to get these Korean rice wine! Especially the chestnut flavor as it is so rare. The owner is super kind and responsive via IG message and was able to deliver to our hotel in Richmond the day before we check in and made sure the hotel stores the rice wines appropriately. Love it and will come back for these drinks!

β β β β β Their Makgeolli is so fresh and fruity! All of them are delicious but my favourite is the green grape one?So refreshing! Perfect park with some Korean fried chicken. I highly recommend checking them out!

β β β β β Hands down the BEST Makgeolli Iβve ever had. I wasnβt a big fan of Makgeolli to be honest, as factory-made Makgeolli has a weird after taste (probably from Aspartame.) That is until I tasted Makgeolli from VanMak! Their Makgeolli has such a silky, smooth and clean taste, and itβs dangerously easy drinking. Flavoured Makgeolli are also great as the flavours are not overpowering but subtle, and has just a touch of sweetness. My favourite is Citron (Yuza) flavour. ? They deliver only for $4 with a minimum purchase of $35 (I think?), but honestly itβs not hard at all to order more than $50 ?. In fact, Iβm going to order some more right nowβ¦

β β β β β I've always historically had soju and makgeolli from the liquor store. I discovered this local distillery and its way better than buying the imported drinks. It's fresh and tasty. They offer delivery and also it's nice to support a local, family run business. I'll be a long time loyal customer for sure. It's a staple for us at our friends and family gatherings. I can't recommend this place enough to everyone!
Update: I don't know how many times I've come back. Definitely 2-3 times a month some months. Their seasonal pumpkin was delicious and their new 1L bottles are great.
If you haven't had their makgeolli or soju, you're definitely missing out.

β β β β β So, you guys have two options for drinking Korean rice wine in Vancouver. The first one is heading to the liquor store and buy manufactured rice wine. Second is visit this store and buy really great tastes Korean traditional Makgeolli. I recommend this raw rice wine.

β β β β β I tried the Korean rice wine tonight when I went to a Korean restaurant, and it was delicious! First of all, the packaging is so cute! It is quite attractive, even for kids as my little nephew asked if he could drink it. Of course I said no. But most importantly, the rice wine is such a unique taste! It is nice and sweet, creamy, smooth and easy to drink! I would recommend it for anyone who hasn't given rice wine a try...it's nice to pair it with Korean food!

β β β β β It was absolutely delicious and way more cost effective than buying them at your local liquor store. Personally love the green grape and strawberry flavour. You can taste a bit more of the alcohol when you go for the original. Note that they poke a hole on the lid to let it breath, so never ever store it sideways!
