M	Marc Leckman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't know much about Le Vieux Pin prior to our private tasting but walked away with a tremendous appreciation for their winery, their story and of course the wines. Alex was very knowledgeable and proud of what they have there - a female owned and operated vineyard that works extremely hard to maintain old world techniques in everything they do. I was most impressed with their 2 large format wines - red and white both un-yeasted and so easy drinking that they would convert any non-wine drinker. We also sampled their 2018 and 2012 Syrah's side by side. Would strongly recommend a visit and tasting to anyone.
D	D Hans on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating when we wanted to push up our tasting. They were also nice to accommodate the tasting to our preference for reds. My only caveat was that 2 out of the 4 wines we were served were for wine club members only. I also found their reds were young and not ready to drink so we'd need to let them sit for a bit (I guess that's a bit of a personal preference). Overall I'd recommend the winery. I did feel like it was a bit more of a serious winery vs something a little more fun. Looking forward to opening my reserve syrah in a few years;)

However, despite the fact that we made an appointment, they continued to serve walk-ins, which meant it took 10 minutes or more between each pour of wine, which was frustrating, and they didn't really have time to discuss any of the wines with us.
T	The Beekeeper (How To Learn) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le Vieux pin would be defined as more high end. Usually they only accept by appointment only but you could try dropping buy. Wine is amazing. Top level stuff. They practice old school wine making techniques. It varies year to year. Staff are very knowledgeable. Smaller tasting room but nice patio as well. If you love wine come here.
V	Veronique Verreault on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is like heaven!! We went there since we heard a lot of good things from our friends in the wine industry. We got there and were greeted by Alex, very nice person who told us about the story behind this winery. We got to taste their Syrah, Violette. Oh wow, don't miss that!!! We got ourselves few bottles! The location is perfect to have a picnic or just to have a glass of wine under the sun and relax. Very glad we went there and enjoyed a sunny afternoon. Make sure to call in advanced and be aware that LOTS of their products are sold out since all is so delicious.
R	RPC on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made a mistake on the booking system and booked wrong day (my mistake but system could be clearer). When I realized the error, I went to cancel and...No Refunds...can't even change to another date, can only change name to another person. This with over 24 hours before booking. When we got there, looks nice on the outside but the tasting room and the tasting experience was ho hum. Lots to choose from in the valley with a better experience.

Our hostesse was very nice and informative spending a good amount of time with us threating us to a vast assortment of the winery's selection. The wine was very good with each variety having a very good overall complexity and balance. Luckily we were able to taste a 10 year old vintage confirming the wine only get better once aged. Reservations are required as we saw a few couple unable to even the tasting.

I ended up signing up for their wine club because of the amazing quality of their product. Think about a passionate wine maker with an excellent sense of excellence. So happy we choose to include this place in our tour.
