LD&A - Calgary

We have used LD&A twice now and both times their professionalism has been outstanding. They really listen to what is being asked of them in design and construction. We very much felt like valued customers in both large a small projects. Their commitment to stand by their work after the project is completed is a testament to the pride taken in what they do and the value they have for customers. We very much recommend LD&A for anyone looking to a renovation in Calgary. They truly stand by their work and strive to deliver a high quality product suited to any variety of needs and styles.

In a word, remarkable. The team at LD&A exceeded all of my expectations, which, were very high to begin with, and this team completed a massive entire home renovation on time and on budget and with zero complications. I doubt many people who have hired a renovation company can say that. Every member from the designers to the tradesmen to the construction manager to the project manager were all highly professional and highly skilled. LD&A accommodated a few last-minute design changes and truly created a space that works well for me and my family. I would and do highly recommend LD&A for all renovation projects big and small. LD&A has been in the business for a long-time and this experience and client first approach shows but don't take my word for it, call them and see for yourself.

"Damn near perfection" are the unsolicited words that a highly critical associate of ours used to describe our recent kitchen renovation by LD&A. She told us that in the 50 years of her career, she has never seen a kitchen renovation done nearly as well. Frankly, we'd have to agree, and we'd go as far as to say that they reached perfection on this project (it is our kitchen after all). In choosing a renovation company, we were looking for: 1) design and product delivery; 2) care and professionalism through the project and 3) reasonable budget and timeline. LD&A met or exceeded expectations in all three of these areas. Firstly, we loved working with the design team at LD&A. They met with us virtually (due to the pandemic) and gathered our thoughts and design inspirations. The design they crafted perfectly reflected style and met all our needs. The final product is identical to the 3D renderings that we were provided with during the design phase. Things continued to exceed our expectations from there: the custom millwork is superb, and their contractors are excellent in the work that they do: tiling, painting, floor refinishing, electrical, plumbing and stone counter tops were all first rate and completed by friendly professionals. The site-manager was friendly, accommodating, professional and detailed-oriented. If something was not exactly to par, he made sure that they were fixed or replaced until they were exact. Any issues were resolved immediately. We were always informed about our options and what the impacts would be to budget and timeline (if any). We lived in our house during the construction, and the LD&A staff and associated contractors left our home clean and tidy. LD&A staff and contractors were accommodating to online meeting schedules while I worked from home. They helped us set up a temporary kitchen in our basement to use during the renovations. Communication was regular and clear throughout the project. We loved checking the app for daily updates, messages and notes. Lastly, the budget was very close to the original estimate and the timeline was delivered as promised. Our renovation experience was headache-free with a final product we love. We would highly recommend LD&A and would use them again in a future project.

We used LD&A to gut and rebuild the main floor of a 50 year old house. Every step of this project was executed professionally and diligently. Lindsey was our senior designer and did an amazing job creating the floor plan we wanted while staying conscious of our budget and the house limitations. She also made sure every tile, cabinet and fixture in the house matched the ambiance we were going for. Daryl and Neil did a fantastic job coordinating the trades and ensuring that we weren't taking on the burden of organization. The communication throughout the project was very good, the LD&A team went above and beyond to make us feel in control and up-to-date.

Our new kitchen and main floor looks absolutely amazing. Not only did LD&A do a top-quality job, but they were so responsive, positive, and professional throughout the entire experience. We really felt like they cared about our home as much as we do, and I am so grateful to get to live in this amazing home now. I just can't believe it's the same house, and I can't believe it's mine!!

LD&A have professional staff who renovated the main floor of my house. As with any reno there were unforeseen issues along the way. I was given options which were handled swiftly and competently. Staff were always available for questions and I am pleased with the results. I would use LD&A again.

Amazing experience, very professional. Took my idea from a sketchpad to a full 3D renderings of options that were priced out. Kept us updated with daily logs and potential improvements along the way. Cost came in right where they said it would, some change-orders that were well worth it, and everything was clearly communicated to me and no surprises. Definitely going to use them for the rest of the house.

LD&A built out a 6000 sf medical clinic for us at Innovative Sport Medicine. It was a complex renovation in an old building with lots of building restrictions. They handled all of the challenges and our clinic is absolutely beautiful, better than I could have imagined. They have a high attention to detail, came in right on budget, right on schedule, with timely communication. They have a really friendly team - everyone in design, trades, and their accounting department. I highly recommend LD&A for any residential or commercial project you may have. Neil and Darryl are the best!
