★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this little park & bird sanctuary. Lovely place to go for a tranquil walk , pause for peace. Worth visiting any time of year.
Please bring some wild bird feed (particularly raw sunflower seeds) hold the seeds/feed in the in the palm of your open hand, then remain very still. Possibly the Black Capped Chickadees, Red Breasted Nuthatch, Marsh Wren, Spotted Towhee & various other feathered friends might take the food directly from your hands. Many folks come to this location to do exactly that.
Often you'll find little mounds of wild bird seeds left in various places in throughout the sanctuary for the birds to devour at their leisure. Brought there by visitors concerned about the birds welfare.
Please keep your beloved puppies on leashes. The temptation for them to chase the many flitting birds , might be to much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a nice viewing platform where are there are many red-winged blackbirds, chickadees, morning doves, etc. If you're lucky, you'll see squirrels. Bring some bird feed, especially sunflower seeds.
