★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The part of Lawson Trail is hardly worth bothering with.
Quite a few people giving their dogs a morning walk so they can get 'things' out of their system.
The trail, coming in from the west, becomes an asphalt parking lot for the somewhat run-down Mini Putt. It exits to the East Northeast through a gap in the Treeline.
We picked up 14 pieces of garbage, mostly pop cans and chip bags.
Nothing other of note in this area, just the goods railway line with a couple of sidings further east.
Quite disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice small Trail for walking. No steep area so it's easy for anyone. It is a loop of a trail with one side in the open with groomed gravel and the other side thru some wooded area. The open site is next to the river. It is a pretty trail. One end leads to a dog park. There are areas that gets flooded when it rains or when snow melts and freeze again. There are ways to walk around it though.
