He’s completed everything on a timely manner, but we were consistently waiting for ex-wife’s big law firm to finish their work. Jean-Pierre went out of his way to keep remind them of their pending matters and proofread a lot of their filled-out forms in order to save time for me and to put a closure. He didn’t even charge me for the extra work he has done for me. I wish no one would have to go through a divorce process, but if you are already seeking for a lawyer, I highly recommend Jean-Pierre Ung!

He helped me draft and sign a cohabitation agreement for my girlfriend and I, given we had recently purchased a property together. We wanted an agreement because our upfront contributions to the downpayment were very different, and we wanted to make sure that both of us and our assets were protected properly if something were to happen. JP took the time to explain to me the different items to take into consideration and made sure I understood the risks and scenarios that could arise. He spent a tremendous amount of time and attention to detail to draft up an agreement that I was very happy with. When we were refining and negotiating the terms of the agreement with my girlfriend's lawyer, JP was always willing to meet/have a call to discuss the changes. While creating a cohabitation agreement is not necessarily fun, JP made it easy to navigate and I am very pleased with the outcome. For those who want a lawyer who is attentive, will give you honest and professional advice, and provide quality work, then JP is the lawyer for you.
