Met the owner twice in a span of couple weeks and he quickly proved himself as unreliable, dishonest, fraudulent and generally untrustworthy. I even found some of the pictures he represents on his website as his work on a general google search and they are not his! With all this I did not trust them with my project.
D	Danik Daniski on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We held of writing this review for a few months partly out of fear but now learned of others having similar experience and people should be warned about Lavergne Home Reno. Save yourself a lot of issues and concern. The work done by Lavergne employees was ok the main problem was with the owner Edgar. He comes & goes constantly through the day but doesn’t do any work just talks on the phone about some very questionable and some very personal topics. When he was here random and sketchy people would show up to my address for short visits, I won’t speculate for what! He is an aggressive and confrontational person without respect or manners. When the work was done we had few problems to fix and adjust but hired another company. Simply did not want Lavergne back here. You would be best to look hire someone else.

He kept ignoring our calls and texts and when finally confronted at the end of May, he stated that the material he ordered was not available. We had already paid 50% of the invoice. Now we understand that covid has played a part, but we were never kept informed as to any progress for our deck. The deck was finally started in late August and to date is not finished and owner stated he didn't know when it would be done.We terminated the unsigned contract and will have a real professional firm complete it.

Poor first impression. If this company is unwilling to return a call for potential work how would they be if you were to actually hire them?

It was not them but after talking with the boss business, he has compassion for me. He called the bad contractor and To clean the Lavergne name he promises To reimburse me all. I could not believe it. That is incredible. To do that you must have stronge values. I do recommend strongly this company. I want everybody To know that those kind of persons still exist.
