Laurus Camp - Laval

The best summer camp ever! Everyone is super nice and caring. Can’t ask for a better one! My sons are still talking about and asking to go back anytime. They can’t wait till the next summer comes!

I'm going to start with the organization. I was extremely satisfied. Emails were answered promptly and weekly emails were sent out with updates of what the week ahead would entail. Kayla and Veronica were both very nice and professional. If ever I had questions and issues I would go straight to them and the addressed it right away. Another aspect of organization I'd say is the safety of the children. We were not allowed passed the reception desk, which I loved... no parents/adults were allowed to roam the school and have access to the children.They also never left the premises. I hope they keep this security for the future. As for lunches that they provide, I didn't use it much. I used it once or twice ... I did find $10 for a slice of pizza, veggies and a juice box a bit expensive but I gave it to my child as a treat on the fun carnival days or activity days. They did give my child a free lunch when hers went flying in the wind (not something I expected, I was going to pay for it but they were above and beyond kind to offer to me). Activities and fun during the day, my child LOVED the dance classes, science class, cooking classes and everything else offered. They did shows of what they learnt weekly (dance and drama) to the other children. My child would come home and do it for the family as well. The song "the middle" , J balvin and Nicky Jam and anything by Cardi B will remain Laurus daycamp 2018 engraved in my memory forever, a wonderful memory to have. The have weekly guest speakers and my child LOVED meeting the guest, doing the yoga, zumba, exploring the police cars, firetruck... and much more. The councelors were fantastic! All young and enthusiastic! They loved the kids!!! My child LOVED everyone of them. One thing I loved was the weekly report of my child. They were so fantastic with keeping up with it. I kept them all for memories and my child will get to know what the councelors thought of my child and what was done during that week. As for bullying, they do NOT tollerate at all! I witnessed it with my own eyes! They handle it first hand...in terms of bullying I mean hitting/ intimating and harassing other children. However, if your child is young be ready to meet a new kid when they get home... remember that they are interacting with all different ages and different children. It's like sending your kid to kindergarten all over again... you're child will mature. Overall, my child LOVED the daycamp and so did I.

The camp is great. We started at Montreal and ended up going to the one in Laval which made it much easier for us! The girls loved the place and had so much fun with the counclers there! They had a good time with the activities that were going on every week! We felt like we didn’t have to worry about our girls cause they were in great hands!

My son absolutely loved this camp. I think the best part of it all was the diversity and compassion that the couselors offered the kids. In addition, it was great to know that on hot days the kids got to enjoy safe water activities! Lunch packages at a reasonable cost were also available, which made it very convenient for busy nights. My kids love this summer camp. This is the first time I ever put my kids in the summer camp and was very comfortable counselors are amazing and made my kids feel right at home. The staff is wonderful very helpful and made my daughter who suffers from a lot of anxiety feel right at home and that was very important for me.

My children thoroughly enjoyed their time at the Laval summer camp and looked forward to going back everyday. The team is professional and well organized. My childrens needs and interests were taken into consideration. I got the sense that all were working in sync and like one big family whenever I picked up my kids. Kayla and Veronica did an amazing job managing the summer camp.They had weekly themes and actvities that kept the kids excited, and got to choose what activities they wanted to join. Overall, it was all fun-filled. My children stayed active and engaged throughout the summer! Thank you all for your great efforts :)

My kids had an amazing experience this summer all thanks to the counselors at Laurus. I wasn't sure about putting my 4.5 year old in camp but thought it would be a good idea to prep him for kindergarten. He loved it and had amazing time. They each made new friends and made memories that will last forever. The organization of the camp was very impressive and the counselors we out of this world. We can't wait till next summer!
