Had a good high school experience, other people I know didn't really like it.

Food has been saltier than Kostya since the cook left, but the portions are more generous. #FightTheFumes

So many of my friends say it's a good school. I know people who went to that school. My brother went there for Karate class. It's a public school that require students to wear a uniform, which is good for parents that are on a budget.

Bad experience in that school. The high end staff (vice principals) are judgmental and also do racial profiling. They would pick on random student based on their skin color and has become very obvious. They do not care about helping students in bettering themselves and helping them lead into a good career. Their utmost goal is to keep the schools grade high by expelling students with lower grades. I did not get expelled. I left for another high school with a lower school rating, but ended up having a better time and graduating successfully from the lower school rating.

Definitely not a very good school. There are some good teachers, but most of them are not there because they care about educating students. I had a particularly bad experience with French and Math teachers. The secretaries and administration are extremely disorganized and waste time dealing with useless things like uniforms, instead of actually helping students succeed. From what I've heard, so far the school has not taken very many measures to combat COVID-19, and the ones they have taken are unevenly implemented.

The only redeeming thing about this school is half a dozen level-headed teachers that do their job well and actually care about students. My experience here however has been marked by teachers that did a better job of bringing me down than pushing me up, some of whom permanently ruined subjects for me in their entirety. To this day, more than 3 years later, I struggle with math because of one particular teacher (as you know, math builds), and history has lost all appeal to me because of another. Administration is embarrassingly disorganized and the VP's are judgmental power-trippers, not to mention biased. Certain students will be treated *remarkably* better than others, based on things such as sports team participation and extracurricular activity. Over the years, all the kids with low grades and problems in my grade were kicked out, because LHA can’t be bothered to invest in the resources needed, and they fear that these kids will drop out and lower the school’s manufactured graduation rate. All that matters is appearance, and the image LHA puts out is fake. This is ironically evidenced by the military-like attention paid to uniform code, and the consistent disregard for student and parent concerns. What kinds of concerns you ask? Well this school really has it all. Teachers literally making up students’ grades based on favouritism, inappropriate advances towards students, outright racist and sexist remarks from teachers, teachers mocking mental illness, and shockingly violent outbursts from teachers. After I graduated I even got a glimpse into the toxic work environment between the teachers and the administration behind the scenes. I can’t make this s**** up. Don’t send your kids here. Take it from someone who went and who pities all new arrivals.

Good school and some teachers are good expect for one of the teacher name Rosaline Gagliardi. She claimed she lost a student test and made the student re-do (because the student did very well and she wanted to prove the student wasn't good enough) she mis treated the student and was very bias , lots of things she said to a student that she shouldn't of said
