The doctors are great however reception is a complete nightmare to get through to. I was having symptoms and needed to change my appointment to a phone visit. I called non stop from 9am until 130pm and either for a busy signal or waited on hold for over 45 minutes to get through to reception. I emailed 3 times. No one has gotten back to me. It's been 3 days since the appointment and I still can't get through. If I have a GP I don't understand how I'm supposed to see them if it's completely impossible to talk to reception

My doctor is great but it's become impossible to reach her because the phones don't work! Never seen anything like this before. Been calling for the past 3 days and all I get is a busy signal followed by a disconnection. It's absolutely terrible! How are you supposed to get in touch with your care provider if reception won't answer the phones. It's actually dangerous.

I have been trying for 2 days to get through to make an appointment and the phone line is busy. I called 87 times yesterday (YES, 87 TIMES), no answer. The people at the front desk are rude and curt over the phone and in person. This has been my family Dr for 37 years and have never experienced such rude people at the front desk. This recent annoyance is not my first horrible experience with this office. If this was a walk-in clinic, I would never return and clearly I am not the only one to express this.

EXTREMELY frustrated. The phone hasn't been working since at least end of October, so anyone who can't drive to the office won't have been able to make appointments for a month and a half. When I asked why phones were down and how long it would be until they were up, I was given a wishy-washy response with no apology. The doctor didn't call my son for his over - the - phone appointment a couple weeks ago (scheduled in-person via receptionists), and because we haven't been able to make the trip out again to re-book, he is about to run out of his prescription medication. The phones seem to be up and running today, FINALLY, but hangs up on me every call because the lines are busy! Won't even let me wait in a queue! This is completely unacceptable for a DOCTOR'S office.

Stay away from this doctors office. They will not answer phones they do not call you back on referrals, and it’s impossible to get an appointment. Every possible clinic is better than this one.

The front desk staff of this drs office is absolutely horrendous. My family dr has been at this place for over 15 years and WOW how is it possible its getting worse? I have no problems with my dr ... if im able to reach him. Ive been hung up on by the front desk ladies, simply voicing my concern as a patient not being able to book an appointment for over 3 weeks because of issues they have with their phones. Dealing with critical mental health issues and telling the fd staff while booking, she told me i was being rude and hung up on me. My mother in law isn't able to drive and has a critical long term illness. She had been trying to call and book her appointments for over 2 weeks at the end of November, she wasn't able get though due to their "phone issues". Luckily my father in law is able to drive down to the office and had to book her in. Patients who don't live close do not have that option. If you hate people that much and have zero respect for humans in pain, why are you medical office assistants?

Resounding what everyone else is saying- there's no point in having amazing doctors if you can't actually make an appointment to see them. I wouldn't even blame this on the reception that exists, I would blame this on a lack of ability to get a better system set up. Other places have online booking, email, or answering machines for issues that LCFP just seems to neglect. Would give a better review if ANY of these options were explored, or if they could just get more people answering phones, until then... do not waste your time trying to make this facility help you in any way.

I have been going to this office now for 8 years and I have always loved the drs and receptionists, nurses etc. They have always accommodated us when we've really needed to be seen, and the care we receive is very good. I think that what they're experiencing now is some growing pains and are generally busier, it being a pandemic and all. I was in the other day speaking to a receptionist about the long phone waits and lack of online booking and it sounds as though the online system is in the works. I love this office so much, I think it's just going through some changes and I will be patient waiting for those to come. At the end of the day, this is a great clinic with caring and helpful staff who, like the rest of the world, are super busy due to the current world climate/situation, and they really seem to be doing their very best under trying circumstances. The only suggestion I have is that they prioritize an online booking system since that could really help the phone line delays.
