Best Park in Canada

I	Isaac Little on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really fun place to stop by and fish. There is a lot of geese hanging around though so there is unfortunately plenty of bird poop everywhere. The park used to invest in a program to peacefully move the geese out of the park but I don't believe it's funded anymore, or it doesn't appear to be. I would say it's the best place to through a football around but I definitely enjoy fishing here. Also the baby ducks that hang out in the shallows are super cute! Also would like to add that there is a decent bike path that runs directly through Lamoureux that is would a ride on. You can make it pretty far from what I have heard.
J	Jessi Sharp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great place for kids! We were visiting from out of town. This was an AMAZING play structure for all ages, based on a gravel ground. The splash pad was HUGE. Biggest & more fun than most of the ones in Ottawa. Lots of benches and tables to enjoy the water view or to watch your kids. Bathrooms on site. A hot dog stand with snacks and drinks. I even saw a water bottle refill station. Great place near the water to stop and get some energy out with the kids on a road trip.
H	HSV Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In love with this place. Very calming, relaxing and mindful environment this place hold. Canal and lake are beautiful to watch on a breezy quiet day. Birds and trees full of flowers, pollinator insects on trees and smell of lake and soil are magic.
J	Jay Mehta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place for picnic or to just hang out. There's marina along which one can have a nice walk. One can engage in a couple of sports activities as well. We got the food delivered from a restaurant nearby over here and we enjoyed a great meal in the nature. There are many benches with 4 to 6 people capacity so it is good for groups. There is a parking lot with a couple of parking spots but you can also park on the street if it is full. Definitely recommended.

There were picnic tables and benches available and garbage cans. People were walking or riding their bicycles along the path and even made conversation. Very friendly area and beautiful scenery by the water.

Thanks to the city planners of Cornwall that took away the trees ? that were in the middle of the hill✅?. As we heard this winter in Ontario trees and boulders in the middle of the hill can fatal for our much loved children. We give Park Lamoureau 5 star recommendations. The bathrooms are clean, the park is well maintained, the Christmas lights in the winter spectacular and the water park and flowers ?? are beautiful.
J	Jean-Pierre Azar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Cornwall yesterday for a short trip outside of Montreal. One of the first spots I went to when I arrived there. Surprisingly a very quiet spot with to visit near the St-Lawrence River. The civic complex, the aquatic center, the tourism center and the waterfront trail are all nearby. As seen on Narcity Canada, there's also some snow sculptures that have been shown on their blog. I would suggest coming down to this park during the summer if you are looking to do cycling, hiking and even seeing some birds in this park!

I usually only see a bunch of seagulls in most of the parks I frequent in Montreal and it was nice to see different aquatic birds for a change. It was somewhat relaxing watching them. The locals are also very nice. A great place to do your reading, yoga or just to sit and relax.
