★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a halal place but since there aren’t any options in Penticton, we decided to get a vegetarian meal at Lala Ji’s.
We ordered bhalla chaat, pao bhaji, amritsari kulcha and potato stuffed naan. Unbelievable taste and amazing portion sizes. Enjoyed the channas, chutney and raita with everything. Young lady serving us was very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area and are seeking authentic Punjabi food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has gone downhill. Substituting chicken with potatoes.... did they not think we would notice? I used to love this place. I will no longer go here. Terrible food.
Oh and their prices are outrageous. For what I paid here I can get double the amount of food at Lachi's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the Indian restaurants in Penticton where there is delicious food. I have developed an acquaintance with the staff and they mostly know my order as soon as I get to the place. The staff is friendly, always smiling and waving at customers. The atmosphere is really good. I get all my take away food from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We will no longer come here and not because of the food as its always good. But the rudeness of the front of house woman is not acceptable. Also I spent 100 bucks even with rising food costs the amount of food we received is extremely frugal and on the line of insulting for what a person pays for. We are year round customers and have been supporting this business since it opened. We are no longer supporting this establishment and we are local so we will also stop referring people here as well. To bad because the food is good. Hate to see a local business go down because of bad service and cutting down on portions. I would be happy to pay a dollar more a item if I got the same portion size as previous just a suggestion.

The food was great as always. Had the tandoori mix, lamb korma, chicken pakora...and it was impressive. Will be back of course
