★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go for a walk for any age. Anytime of the year is a good time to check this area out. Beautiful, gigantic trees and well maintained grounds for the most part. Lots of parking and waste bins. The JUBE is a cool place to grab a beer and sit on the patio. Can be busy on nice days but overall pretty chill spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a massive 3 floor minecraft-looking defense tower, 2 escape zip lines, a 3 person forward-riding swinging horse (never seen that before), a spider-web-slide combo, a child flinger, an enjoyable splash pad for 3+ yr olds, a separate toddler play area, a nearby beach/light house and a massive picnic area. Very busy on summer weekends and finding parking space is like winning a lottery. Be very early when you go or late after 7 pm. During the week it's easier to find parking and noticeably less busy. I would say this is the top playground in Durham. Honorable mentions to Rotary and Baycliffe/Spaceship Parks.
Edit: Does have washrooms and small restaurants on location. All personal cooking devices including barbeques (propane, charcoal) are not permitted anywhere in the park. Does not require a parking pass for local residents like Rotary park during the summer.
Please enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The previous play structure had an amazing ship theme that was very suiting due to the active harbour nearby.
The new playground is uninspiring, poorly designed, and very dangerous. The planners should be fired. It's amazing that the jewel of oshawa is a total pile of trash. Shameful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Playground area now open. Nicely built with a splash pad, ziplines, net climbers, and a massive tower looking structure with several slides. Looking great and the kids having a blast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing newly constructed playgrounds. One area has tall structure with slide gorles down quite fast. The other area more suitable for kids younger than five. There's a Zipline, miltiswing ride and beach nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is easily the coolest playground I've ever been to. My 5 year-old absolutely loved it. And my wife and I loved it too lol. The ropes, the playground with tube slide and the zip-line are all so cool and haven't seen many playgrounds with this quality of equipment.
The trails around here are also very nice with views of Lake Ontario. Can't wait to come back in the summer as there is a splashpad here too.
There's a nice long pier that ends at a lighthouse which we loved and restaurants right on site if you get hungry. Definitely an awesome place to spend some hours burning energy.
5/5.
