Beers were pretty decent and had quite a few styles on tap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Writing this review, I want to acknowledge that the whole valley is short staffed right now and that it has impacted every level of service and product quality.
The Lakesider Brewery is just around the corner from me and was recommended by several friends. The atmosphere is bright and the staff were friendly, though we stood at the door awkwardly for quite a few minutes trying to make eye contact with staff before we were finally acknowledged (I get it, understaffed and busy night), but a quick “be right with you” would go a long way.
We ordered a few drinks, the crab cakes and the carne asada (beef sandwich). The beer is good, but frankly, the food was very low value. Bland, poor presentation and smallish portions. The 65 dollar bill for the two of us made me wish we had used the money to buy some great ingredients for a dinner date night at home.
…For much higher value, I would recommend the Hatching Post, just down the road. We spent the same money and got a much more enjoyable experience.
Bottom line: up your game if your going to have repeat business from your local customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most wonderful, neighbourhood hang out!!! All of the staff are incredible, the food is delicious, the beer is great, and they are just truly phenomenal humans.
This is the kind of place where you can close your eyes, point at something on the menu and you'll love whatever you get.
I've never had anything less than a fantastic experience here, and I'd bet my life I never will.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beer is great and the venue is really nice. The pizza is great, nachos okay, but the guacamole is not good. Also, when the place is full it is loud enough that you have to yell to the person next to you to have a conversation. It’d be great if they put in some sound proofing material on the ceiling or walls to help reduce the volume.
