★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time we visit Sudbury, we make time to hit this loop! Very beautiful, moderately difficult... great for beginning hikers! Beautiful scenic overlooks! Highly highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm ranking the loop, not the parking lot itself. You can park here, but the entrance is through a neighborhood and there are not a lot of spots. Would suggest to go to the main parking spot for the loop. That said, the loop is beautiful, many trails and a lot of things to see. Mildly challenging, but it's definitively doable for anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lake Laurentian loop is a 10 km trail best to visit in color season. You can see all types of fall vista: color forest over lakes, wetlands and panoramic view from rocky mountain, There are numerous scenic lookouts on the trail.
