★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great spot for a couple of nights. Pit toilets and table with firelace. Camp right on the lakes edge. Free firewood and beaut sunrise sunset location. Self regestration. Washboard road going in so give yourself extra time to get there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic self serve campground just south of the bison enclosure. More amenities than I expected and free firewood for all staying at the park. It was especially nice being so close to the enclosure as we were able to drive in bright and early when the bison are most active.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found a gem of a place to pitch a tent beside a lovely lake in Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba. There are not many camping sites, therefore; it was peaceful. We had exceptionally hot sunny weather. There are no hookups for trailers and motor homes. The water isn’t potable. There is a small beach and playground. There is firewood available. We saw and heard numerous water fowl. Yes there are bears here as we had an uneventful encounter with a black bear at our campsite. The one drawback is the condition of the outhouses. They were smelly and filthy which is unusual in a National Park. We didn’t meet any campground or park staff. Camping here is very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing weekend at one of the OTENTIKS! Pretty quiet overall. Was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Wasagaming. Took a day hike to the Minnedosa River Campsite, which was lovely!
