About Ladybird Photography
There is nothing quite like capturing life’s most precious gifts... newborns & babies. As a Momma of 4, I’ve know firsthand how important these first moments are. I adopted my first two kiddos, one at 2 weeks old and the other at 4.5 years so I missed those beautiful firsts with them. How I wish I could get images from those early days. I have a few images and I cherish them. You need to capture this time, the time when your baby is still curled up as they were inside you, when they can still fit in the palms of your hands and eyelashes have yet to unfurl... these moments pass by so quickly. With my twin girls I was able to witness & capture these moments. It is a privilege I hold close to my heart as my littles just keep growing...faster than I would like them to.
My photography is more than just the click of the camera. It is about more than the moment captured, it is representative of your brand new all encompassing love for this little being, that has so drastically changed your life. Each of my images will bring a smile to your face and a warm glow to your heart, and that is why I absolutely love what I do!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! AMAZING! I had photos taken by Lisa at Ladybird Photography of my newborn son. In my opinion, in order to be a great baby photographer not only do you have to take great photos, manage your props and environment extremely well but most importantly you have to have a strong ability to negotiate the temperament of a newborn child. The latter is probably the toughest part and Lisa does all of these things with great patience, care and creativity, all while providing a calm and comfortable environment in her studio.
I can barely manage our baby by myself and she was able to manipulate him to get some really AMAZING shots! You can tell when someone has done 10,000 hours of a particular task just by the way they handle themselves in their craft. Lisa’s experience definitely shows this with all of the tricks she had up her sleeve to increase the likelihood of BEAUTIFUL photos.
I never truly appreciated what EXCEPTIONAL photographers really do (especially baby photographers) but seeing Lisa in action and then seeing the results of her HARD WORK proves it’s money very well spent.
Lisa is a natural and very gifted in her craft!
VERY HIGHLY recommended photographer.

My 2 yr old son was a bit of a handful and she was so patient and managed to capture some gorgeous photos of him despite his rambunctious attitude. The newborn photos of my daughter are so precious and I will truly cherish them. Lisa did such a fantastic job - I will definitely look to have her do family photos for us again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a family mini-shoot with Lisa for the holidays. Booking a session was a breeze with clear expectations of cost and what we were receiving.
Everything about our experience during and after the shoot has been great. It is hard enough to get my kids to sit still for a single photo and Lisa was able to capture so many incredible moments with both of them or all of us. She showed an amazing amount of patience and clearly knew how to get the most out of 2 highly energetic 5 year olds. The quality of the photos themselves are fantastic and it was a very reasonable amount of time before we had access to everything.
We will be repeating at some point and I would definitely recommend using Lisa for any of your family's photography needs.
