RoAnna McLenahan - Physiotherapist / Owner
Originally from Barrhead, AB, RoAnna graduated from the University of Alberta in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Since graduating she has worked in private practice treating patients with a variety of soft tissue injuries. RoAnna has taken many post graduate courses including Gunn IMS, Part A Manual Therapy, and de Gasquet Breathing Method for core strength training, SFMA/FMS.
She has a special interest in treating chronic pain and spine injuries/dysfunction, and has developed and teaches the Restore Your Core program currently available at Lacombe Physiotherapy Clinic. Outside of work, RoAnna is a busy mom, and earned her WNBF Pro Card in bodybuilding in 2011. She also enjoys golfing, skiing and hiking/camping with her kids and husband Tim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for several months for treatment on an undiagnosed herniated disc. They continued to perform the same treatment over and over with no results. After speaking socially with another physiotherapist they asked what type of stretches/ physical manipulation were being done, when I answered none they couldn’t believe it. I was referred to lacombe hospital physio department and showed significant improvement after 2 visits and daily stretching/exercise routines. Will never return here and tell everyone I see the same thing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here 10 years ago for my knee injury during rugby and now for a foot injury. Both experiences were wonderful. Shawna is a very intelligent, interesting, understanding and most importantly knowledgeable. She has really helped in my recovery. It's always painful but necessary to your way back to normal or better than normal. I would definitely recommend going to Lacombe Physiotherapy. Shawna and RoAnna are wonderful and they have a great group working for them as well. So far I have only had one issue and that was with a receptionist deleting my appt by accident and not asking my name when trying to put my insurance through so ended up sending it through on someone elses. Both were done by the same girl on the same day. So obviously that girl was just having an off day.
