Cool concept. This employe was explaining us the instructions since it was our first time. I would not consider this as “Tapioca” its more like broken jello. Not very fresh... very watered down. Girl at the cash was super rude. Sadly, we will not come back here. 15$ 2 bubble teas?

Absolutely loved my experience here. The store is set up so that is kind of a "self-serve" experience. Grab a tray, figure out what type of drink you want, then follow the "formula" to see what you need to grab and then create away! There are so many different flavor choices, I was blown away! Once you're done, choose the tea base if you're getting a milk tea (black tea, green tea or oolong) and then wait for your creation to be ready. While waiting, try some of the amazing Daan Go macaron creations - there's no wrong choice, they're all delicious. Bear in mind that at the moment, due to covid restrictions, there is a maximum of 8 people allowed in the store at a time, so you may have to wait for a bit in line outside, but it is absolutely worth it!

Original concept and unique flavors such as rose and sakura boba pearls for a limited time, but their bbteas taste too sweet and artificial to my liking!! For reference, I’ve only ordered green tea infused drinks in these flavor combinations: litchi + rose, strawberry + kiwi and rose + raspberry

@4foodiesmtl You get to make your own customized drink as you would do a lab experiment! When you first walk in, a wall diagram explains the different options and what you can pick out to complete your drink. Then, you go up to the counter where laboratory ustensils, seringes and test tubes are filled with flavour powder, sugar, different beads and milk options. The amazing staff is dressed in lab coats and goggles. All of it makes it a unique concept, hence the name. As for the drinks? Let's say each can get it's own unique bubba ! But it's not the authentic bubble tea to be honest. It's the only down side.

Drinks: The theme is nice but I honestly feel like there is less freedom to custom your drink since everything is already measured for you. You basically only choose the flavor, amount of ice and toppings. You can't ask for less sugar, which is a bummer because most flavors i've tasted are freaking sweet and almost hides the actual aroma (kumquat, litchi, grapefruit, mango, passion fruit). Macaroons: SUPER CUTE and actually very good. Sweetness is just right and most flavors are accurate (peach did not taste like peach). BUT. very pricey (6/20$) Service is fast and friendly :)

If you go just for the experience, you’ll have fun building your bubble tea. Though, don’t expect that typical bubble tea you may be used to. I personally didn’t like the mix and prefer the good old bubble tea. Besides that, the place is cute and well maintained. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. I would recommend as a one time place to go.

I did not like my experience here. The menu was limited to powder or syrup bubble tea. Milk options were: soya or evaporated milk. There was no smoothies or fresh fruits. No prices were listed. Even if without adding sugar, my bubble tea was pretty sweet. I prefer the old way of ordering my bubble tea, quick and efficient. However, very clean and nice place. Service was good and sweet! It is a good alternative place to go if there is no other option.

Interesting concept and experience. Definitely have to be ready for long lines and quite a bit of wait time. It is clearly a novel concept that is super popular and many people love! Safety first too as a glove is given at the entrance. Fully customizable drink, and nice options. Possibility of mixing flavors exactly like in a lab. Soy milk and even maple syrup are options, which is not available at all bubble tea shops, though at a small extra. All in all, great experience minus the wait time.
