★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si La Transformerie nous offre de beaux produits locaux (dont certains petits nouveaux) pour agrémenter nos croissants, plateaux de fromages et BBQ, c’est aussi beaucoup la mission de l’organisme qui nous pousse à choisir ses délicieuses tartinades et sauces. Bon pour le bedon et pour la réduction du gaspillage alimentaire !
If La Transformerie offers us beautiful local products (including some new ones) to enhance our croissants, cheese platters and BBQs, it is also very much the mission of the organization that encourages us to choose its delicious spreads and sauces. Good for the belly and for reducing food waste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J’ai acheté un pot de tartinade bananes et lime dans une pâtisserie réputée dernièrement. J’avais très hâte d’y goûter, pensant que la tartinade était produite avec des ingrédients de top qualité, puisque le (petit) pot m’a coûté 9$….
Après avoir fait une recherche sur la production, j’ai été estomaqué de lire que ces produits proviennent des déchets des épiceries!!!! Bref, une tartinade de dumpster diving….. à 9$…..
I bought a jar of banana lime spread from a famous bakery lately. I couldn't wait to taste it, thinking the spread was made with top quality ingredients, since the (small) jar cost me $ 9….
After doing some research on production, I was amazed to read that these products come from grocery store waste !!!! In short, a dumpster diving spread… .. at $ 9… ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nous voulons toujours faire plus pour l’environnement et éviter le gaspillage. J’applaudis la Transformerie, où j’ai découvert une petite équipe de permanents et bénévoles fantastiques qui nous éduquent sur l’anti-gaspillage et la récupération. Je trouve leurs confitures et sauces, qui proviennent d’aliments invendus récupérés en épiceries, de grande qualité. Bravo la Transformerie!
We always want to do more for the environment and avoid waste. I applaud the Transformerie, where I discovered a small team of fantastic permanent staff and volunteers who educate us on anti-waste and recovery. I find their jams and sauces, which come from unsold food salvaged from grocery stores, to be of high quality. Well done the Transformer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Transformerie sait joindre l'utile à l'agréable. Ses tartinades faites à partir de fruits récupérés sont toutes aussi délicieuses les unes que les autres. Je vous recommande particulièrement la tartinade à la poire et au gingembre. Il y a aussi des sauces salées qui accompagnent très bien les viandes. Les fruits et légumes récupérés dans les épiceries sont encore très bons pour la consommation. Pourquoi jetterait-on de la nourriture qui est encore consommable? La Transformerie c'est une porte ouverte vers une consommation plus responsable.
La Transformerie knows how to combine business with pleasure. Its spreads made from recovered fruits are just as delicious as each other. I particularly recommend the pear and ginger spread. There are also savory sauces that go very well with meats. Fruits and vegetables collected from grocery stores are still very good for consumption. Why would we throw away food that is still edible? La Transformerie is an open door to more responsible consumption.

Gros coup de cœur pour la marmelade d’agrumes…..j’avoue en manger à la cuillère.
Durant le temps des Fêtes, j’en ai offert en cadeau à ma famille et ils ont tous adoré.
Et j’ai un ami qui ne jure plus que par ces tartinades.
À goûter…..absolument.
Transformerie spreads, what a great discovery!
Big crush for the citrus marmalade….. I admit eating it with a spoon.
Over the holidays, I gave it as a gift to my family and they all loved it.
And I have a friend who swears by these spreads.
To taste…..absolutely.

I tried the Pear&Ginger. I like ginger a lot and I had a nice lil kick of it in there. Not too sweet, I feel like this jam could would in a Burger Imma try it this weekend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful organization and tasty products! I love that they help fight food waste in grocery stores by repurposing produce deemed “not pretty enough” and turn them into delicious spreads & sauces. My favorite are the Ginger & Pear spread, the marmalade and their BBQ sauce ?.
