Took the family on a Thursday to what used to be our favourite Cabane a sucre. Coffee, service, eggs and coleslaw were still good. Hotdogs were served instead of farmers sausages (bleh) and they did not even bother to open the tire for a noon seating (rang bell and called out several times).
Never going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite experience thus far in all of French Canada! We came upon this gem randomly. Upon the ski Hill is a cabin. We walked in and were about to walk right out when we saw a tiny room with some elderly fun groups drinking in the morning. It felt like we stumbled into a private party. We realized then this was not the whole place. We were lead through a door into a large banquet hall, with great decor. We were served dish by dish, all delicious great meals. It was unlike anything we've ever experienced. Afterwards, we went to another cabin door to make ourselves some maple taffy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food, service, ambiance, location is good. No activities that are part of the sugar shack itself, but the pros I compensate for it. There is a tubing place right next to it though if you're willing to pay for that.
J'ai eu la chance d'y aller juste avant Covid mais je vais y retourner quand ce sera ouvert :p

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given COVID-19 Sugar Shacks this year are limited to ordering by phone and picking up your meal on site. When eating in, we are accustomed to all you can eat buffet style menu. Although the quality of the food in the box is good, the quantity is below expectation. Soup for two barely fills the bowl half way. Absence of pancakes and two pieces of sugar pie that could not be sliced any thinner. I recommend this Sugar Shack for in place dining, not for takeout, unless you are on a diet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing sugar shack. It's small so you need to reserve if you're a group but worth the wait if they're full. The service is fast and courteous. They make sure you get everything you need. Loved the omelet and the crispy pork rinds. The maple syrup is to die for. The place is clean. There's live traditional folk music. Had a really good time and of course a full belly ?
