Was refused because of a 16 year old criminal record? What joke. Insurance companies are the WORST, but these guys really made my opinion valid.

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!! THEY CANCELLED MY INSURRANCES TWO MONTHS IN, AFTER I PAID THEM 3,425.32 OUT OF 5,138.00. THEY NEVER EVEN BOTHER TO CALL SO I WAS TWO WEEKS WITHOUT INS UNTIL I RECEIVED THE LETTER. THEY COULD NEVER GET MY NAME RIGHT AND NOW ALMOST 3 MONTHS LATER, THEY STILL HAVEN'T OWE ME 2,741.78. I DON'T THINK THEY DESERVE 1 STAR, SO SAD !!!

Stay far, far away from this corrupted insurance company. Unless of course, you are in the market for an insurance company that does what it can to not answer calls, make it impossible to find any information, and do everything they can to screw you over. Then this company is perfect you. But for the rest of you, don't bother with unique. There are a ton of sites online that provide way better service than this dinosaur company.

I write to express my utter disappointment and disgust with l’Unique Insurance. Approximately 3 weeks ago, a motorist drove his car into my backyard ruining destroying a part of my fence and running into my thermopump. An adjuster came to visit the home approximately 4 days later and evaluated the damage, and obviously agreed that both the fence needed to be repaired and thermopump was to be replaced. The adjuster told me to send him estimates of the work that needed to be done and they would handle the situation. Fast forward 2 weeks later, and I have not been given the go ahead to perform the work from the insurance company. They claim that I live in a divided co-ownership and they have to determine if it is a common portion or private portion where the damage occurred and whose insurance should be affected. First of all, it is clearly the motorist’s insurance that will cover all the costs. Secondly, they received all the necessary documents from the administration of the co-ownership stating that whatever is located on the private portion, meaning my lot is my responsibility, and thirdly, I have literally sent them the exact paragraphs stating this to the adjuster. Still no decision even though it is so clear. I explained to the adjuster that I live with an elderly lady and we are experiencing an extreme heatwave, however, there was no solution given. I had asked if we could rent a hotel room for my mother-in-law due to the heat, but they explained it is NOT AN UNLIVABLE CONDITION. Seriously??? 40 degrees? Anybody wants to live in my house? It is unbelievable that I have literally shown this company all the necessary proof and documentation that they have asked for and they have been completely useless and unapologetic. Furthermore, they will not be responsible for a single cent of the damages as the motorist who drove into my fence is 100% at fault. I strongly suggest that anyone who uses this company as their insurance provider think twice about renewing with them in the future.

Car got stolen, they told me they sent the check and i had to bring back my rental and i never received my check to purchase my new car... Now stuck with no car for a week. When you need them they are not there for you.

Worst possible service on earth. Their adjusters NEVER return calls and messages and they leave you lingering with out of pocket expenses. Very good to take your money but very bad to pay when you need them the most. When you are down; they will kick you harder and dig for anything to avoid paying. Basically my car was stolen almost 2 months ago and they still haven't paid and caused me so much stress and pain. Pay the extra... get insured elsewhere... save yourself the endless headaches.
