J	Justin Hildebrand on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tasting food but a little on the pricey side (with inflation the way it is these days I can't really blame them though). I had a double cheeseburger and onion rings back about a month ago on my way back from Spruce Woods. The burger was big (flavorful beef patties) and the onion rings were crisp & tasty. It was about $15 for the double cheeseburger, onion rings and a bottled water. If you're passing through I definitely recommend stopping by and checking them out.

The burger patties look homemade but the fries are not, and the poutine was a disappointing cheese slice in top of fries. Home cut fries would make this place a real roadside gem.

We like to camp at The Spirit Sands or visit Souris Swinging bridge and we found this roadside drive inn restaurant has excellent food - perfect for an outdoor picnic. Burgers are totally delicious- we loved the toppings and the burger was grilled to perfection. Deep fried pickles were very yummy. Fries are great. Lots of picnic tables under the trees on the lawn surrounding it. Restrooms are clean. Would totally recommend this great pitstop if you live close by or are just passing through.
D	Drew Hawranik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great burger. I got the double cheeseburger and was glad I did. The thinner patties have an excellent taste and a nice crust on them, reminiscent of Kelekis. The burger was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of onion, as well as the heavy use of ketchup and mustard. It got a bit drippy. It seemed like the layering of ingredients could be revised. But yes, it is worth the drive from Winnipeg. We also had the deep fried pickles and they were on point and tasty.

The peanut butter milkshake was also tasty and something I'll probably order every time. My boyfriend got the Chicken Finger Dinner; the portion was generous and the fact that they even buttered the dinner bun was a nice touch. Online ordering was convenient ($0.95 service fee) and, although they were incredibly busy, the team seemed to move quickly and were constantly announcing the pick-up orders on the loud speaker. It's also notable that L & J's Drive Inn is the only one I've been to recently where staff are wearing masks, so thank you!
