She let me taste a variety of things, and told me about the building, and it's history, and helped me with my purchases, she also gave me a map and told me of other local businesses she thought might be of interest, including what ended up being the best poutine I've ever had (at La Cantine du Coin) and directions on how to get there. She was very patient and knowledgeable and let us see the machines in which the maple syrup was made and how it was filtered, how they made various products, and where and how the canning took place. The products I bought ended up being the best I've ever tasted and I hope to make a trip back from Connecticut as soon as I can! Thank you!

P	Patrick Carroll on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to this Sugar Shack on a yearly basis and this year (2013) will be my third time in a month and a half. The service is excellent, the food is great, it's also considered a "5 star" sugar shack as they do not serve the "tire" on ice, so it's "healthier". Service is at the tables, no buffet here. It's all you can eat so you can ask as much of you want of pretty much everything. Everything is home-made, the eggs they take is from their own chickens. They also have their alcohol permit, so you can buy beer and wine if you like. The only thing I could say not very positive about the place is the Decor. While homey, the chairs are chairs I used to sit in when I was in elementary school. Small plastic chairs. There's a few paintings here and there by family artists, but over all, if there's one thing I would change in this Sugar Shack is the Decor. It's not bad in any ways, simply lacks a little bit of a special touch. It still remains my favorite Sugar Shack.
