Kum Mon Restaurant

Terrible, wings were fried in dirty oil & not fully cooked and anorexic, the portion of fried noodles with chicken and vegetables was for a single person on top of that the sauce was thick more like a clumb of $#!+, tasteless and a waste of time and money. I spent $54 on 2 serving of fried noodles and vegetables and about 8-10 wings to bring home for my wife and 2 kids that we couldn't even eat and wound up eating $1 instant noodles SMFH

This restaurant used to have the best food ever. During the last year it has declined a lot. To give you an example, the Cantonese fried rice used to come with so many things. Now it's just a sad looking fried rice. To be fair, perhaps they might have kept the prices low but they sacrificed the ingredients in the dishes. It used to be five stars, now unfortunately, I have to give it three.

One of the best places for Chinese food I have ever had and that is coming from me and other Asians who are Chinese and eat this type of food every day. There is a lot of different types of dishes on the menu and the food gets served VERY fast. There hasnt been a dish the I tried where I had any negative feelings about it. There is also the option for delivery, but the food is cooked at a different restaurant locatio and is disappointing. Always go to this restaurant location in person.

I ordered through ubereats. The chicken chow mein is tasteless, the dumplings with peanut sauce were ICE COLD, the rest of the food was hot so it has nothing to do with it being delivery and the garlic spar ribs were BEYOND greasy

This restaurant was billed as new and seemed decently reviewed, so I decided to take a chance and place an order for a few items for delivery. To begin with, their combos don't even offer Won Ton Soup, which is pretty much a must for literally every other restaurant. On top of that, they charge a fee advertized as "delivery" but which also happens to include a gas cost and the driver's tip. Not that it's bad to want a tip, but to have a non-waivable cost for their own travel is outright dishonest. At the very least, ordering a certain minimum amount should waive the fee entirely, which most delivery restaurants do, but this one didn't. Not something reasonable either: $5! As if taxes aren't bad enough in Montreal, they literally charged me 1⁄8th of my order total before taxes in delivery alone! And not even for a fast delivery. Claiming to be busy, the man on the phone claimed it could take 45 minutes to an hour, only to quickly correct it to at least an hour. Ended up taking almost a full hour and a half for the order to arrive. With regard to service, apart from his lie about the delivery fee, the man on the phone, while not completely impolite, was still very abrupt in the way that he spoke to me, and was constantly interrupting and rushing me. After I was given a total of $44.90 (including tip) on the phone, the delivery driver decided it was appropriate to whine at me when I could only give him $45 instead of the extra 15 cents he wanted. At least their food isn't bad, but it's not great quality either. I'm not a picky person at all, I've loved most restaurants I've ordered from, but this simply wasn't as good as other similar places. As others have commented, the ribs are a bit fatty and the rice is oddly soaked in soy sauce rather than being proper fried rice. The sauce of the Cantonese noodles was tasteless, the vegetables so overcooked they were almost mushy, and while the man on the phone claimed that it included pork in addition to shrimp and chicken, it is so pale as to be undercooked and near tasteless as well. The pineapple chicken was a bit doughy and the vegetables that came with the beef were unfortunately also tasteless. I usually don't bother posting online reviews because my experience with delivery is generally good, but this one left a rather bad taste in my mouth overall. All of the above factors put together unfortunately do not paint a great picture. In my opinion, it's not looking good for the future of this supposedly new restaurant.

I do not usually post reviews, but I needed to do this because I want people be on the alert. My friends and I ordered from this place, despite the 3.6 star rated reviews. When we arrived, we were rushed by the waiter with the order and then the food was even rushed. The food itself was alright - I ordered the vegetable fried noodles and a side of spring rolls (I'd give it 3 stars). In the end, the waiter billed me and despite the rushed experience, I gave him a tip below the 10%. He then looked at me and scolded me on giving him such a low tip and that I should at minimum give him 10%. Instead of asking me if they needed to improve their customer service, he decided to act hasty. I then told him that it was disrespectful to tell me this especially since I'm with my friends and he completely ignored me. Moreover, I asked to speak to the manager and he stated that he was. Beware of places like these as the waiter was extremely disrespectful.

I ordered Calamari and Vegetables on Uber Eats. Not only was there a random piece of pork and a random piece of chicken in the meal, but a dead cockroach as well. Will never order from here again. Edit 1.5 hours later: it went right through me. Food poisoning.

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in town. The food here is such high quality and delicious. Their General Tao and Lemon Chicken are amazing. Shrimp and Lobster sauce is amazing. You can have beef and broccoli or Chinese broccoli. So fresh and crunchy. Their Spring rolls and Egg rolls are obviously made from scratch at the restaurant. You can not find any Spring rolls or egg rolls made with this kind of quality and deliciousness. Wow.
