★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the worse mechanic in the region. Took car in for a simple brake job. Messaged the next day informed them that new brakes were making a loud noise, brought it in two times and they still couldn't figure it out. Took the mechanic Jim for a drive, said he has hearing problems. Wondering why even come on the drive? Ok no prob, took the receiptionist for a drive. She noticed the problem. They said it was the pads, ordered new ones and installed. Same night same problem comes back. Took it again to them, they couldn't figure it out. Then gave up after multiple attempts, took it to Canadian tire. Told me the shims were put on incorrectly. They fixed it and when they put caliper back together, kressler auto had over torqued my calipers resulting in additional damages. Contacted kressler and they refused to take responsibility for anything. Going to small claims court now. Do not use these guys! They are incompetent. True story. Buyer beware!

They disconnected it for me with no charge for the service and told me how much it cost to replace, but recommended me not to bother which really impressed me because they didn't make any money from me. I would go back to them in a heartbeat if I needed any work done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a second opinion on something a competitor said I needed. After checking my car, Kressler's Auto Repair said it was not needed. They explained what was going on and why I didn't need the work done. Saved me a couple of thousand dollars. Thankful!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, honest service. I brought my vehicle in after letting it sit over the winter (which resulted in stuck emergency brake initially, and once I got it loose, ended up with pulsating brakes for the first hundred or so km).
He checked the brakes and informed me I could change the front disk brakes or not if I am comfortable with having a little pulsation, and very slight (5% or so) reduction in braking ability. The brake check was 100% free. I highly recommend Kressler from my limited experience dealing with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The receptionist, Wanda, is so friendly and personable. I took my husband's car in to get tires repaired, for a minor leak, and they fixed it quickly, and we have had no problems with air loss in the tires since that repair. Thanks Jim, for your hard work. We have had other services done here before; they are always friendly, fast and fair priced.
