The price that was estimated on the first phone call was the price we ended up paying. Craig was great to deal with, and would not hesitate to recommend his company.
A	Alex Wallis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Kootenai movers for our local Nelson move. We received a quote over the phone based on the size of our place, and how many boxes we estimated. On the day of the move, the 3-man crew arrived on time (a little early even) and were extremely friendly and professional. They were clearly experienced, as they loaded the truck extremely efficiently, and carefully. The unload at the new house was quick, but still maintaining care of our items. There were no damaged items from the move. When it came time to settle up, the final amount was exactly as quoted. We would highly recommend Craig and his team for local, or provincial moves!

Craig made everything so easy, was always there when I called. They showed up on time and our daughter was waiting for them in Calgary. Lance and Logan we wonderful, quick and efficient at unloading, in fact my daughter was so impressed with them. Thank you Craig, Lance and Logan for making this a positive experience for us.

Craig's delightful manner sets the tone immediately for a stress free working relationship. Craig's "crew" is very well trained and charming. We have hired them since to move some appliances around in are new home in Nelson. Feel very secure in making the call to Craig and his team you won't be let down.

M	Mistie Bogard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing. This company was highly recommended and we were promised a high quality experience. The decrepit truck was not large enough to move all our belongings resulting in us having to scramble to find storage and will now have to drive 7 hours (each way) back to our previous home to collect the rest of our belongings. There was a distinct lack of care for our belongings and when I brought damage to the attention of the owner, his attitude was clearly that he did not care. He transported the propane tanks and casually mentioned that it was not big deal. He also mentioned traveling on Sunday to avoid the way scales. When unloading at our destination, the local movers contracted to help commented on the lack of care and rushing to finish the job. They were stunned that dangerous goods were transported and at the lack of care taken with our home and belongings. We asked the owner to move our washer and dryer to another room and he readily agreed to. When disconnecting the hoses the water was allowed to drain onto the floor resulting in some pretty extensive water damage in the room below. At no time did he suggest he should not do this. We asked the owner for assistance with the repairs and he was rude and insulting and suggested we sue him. For only a few hundred dollars more we could have hired a large moving company, but we wanted to support local and boy am I sorry we did. This has been an incredibly stressful experience and I would not recommend this company at all.
