Had our annual Christmas Eve dinner at Kook Korean BBQ House and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere and the setup was great. The dinner combination for 4 was one of the best Korean BBQ in town. For me, too 3. The amount of side dishes was crazy. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Amazing staff! The host (sorry forgot his name, tall guy), Matthew and John were all super friendly and helpful! Our first time here, and we will definitely be coming back. Delicious food, best service, amazing quality, large variety of sides (refillable), and great atomosphere. 100% recommend! Would suggest going early as there is a bit of a wait (worth it though)

It's a pretty popular korean restaurant. Don't forget to make a reservation before coming for dinner if you don't want to wait for hours. Had a great dinner experience. The BBQ was great, but the side dishes were not that special. Servers were friendly though.

I ordered take-out. It was Sunday early evening about 4pm. Order ready in 25 minutes. They were punctual. When I went to pick-up the restaurant was already half full and lots of people coming in either as walk-ins or with reservations. 2 hour time limit if you have reservations. The pictures look amazing and on the spot booked a table for 5 in 3 weeks. I ordered a seafood pancake, ox bone and oxtail soup and spicy beef soup (Yukgaejang). Some side dishes were included too. I devoured the meal pretty quick. It was enough for 2 people and the seafood pancake was pretty good. Crispy and not soggy. Can't wait to dine in and have the BBQ and the 10+ banchan! ? Addendum: I dined in with my friends. There were 5 of us and we got the combination for 4 and a seafood pancake. The service was great, the meat was very good quality and tasty. The atmosphere was nice and lively and they played good music in the restaurant.

2022-05-14 at 12:15pm. Only three tables were available. Better make a reservation! We ordered the combo for two. Amazed by the quantity and quality of the small dishes! The soup is very good too. The tofu is so soft and tasty. When we asked for pepper and garlic, one server gave us a generous amount, very nice! The two servers (one of them is Matthew) are quick and friendly. Excellent service! OK, now, the reason I gave only four stars is because the beef and pork is too sweet. Just personal preference, I like it much much less sweet, or just not sweet at all. Maybe you will like it. Who knows. Coming back? Definitely! I will try something else.

Had the most difficult time booking, as no one answers the phones here, nor do they reply any messages. I tried to call multiple times and left 2 messages to reserve a table in a week's time, but no reply. To book, you should go through Open Table instead. This place should just get rid of their phones as no one uses them. Almost lost all timeslots for that day, good thing there was a last slot. Servers weren't at all attentive, even when trying to flag over or pressing the button. But once they were at our table, it was good service. Seafood pancake was thick, didn't taste very good. But everything else tasted great. We enjoyed the variety of appetizers. Was it worth it? Depends. Good food, higher price, mediocre service, non-existent phone replies.

Local Korean barbecue restaurant is located in this is the East 1st Ave Plaza on second floor. It has plenty of parking. I would highly recommend to make a reservation online or over the phone so you won't be needing to wait in line if it is busy. Large amount of selection in appetizers. there was 3 sauce for you to dip if you order the barbecue meat. The Seafood pancake is smaller than most Korean restaurant I have been to but it still taste good. Not sure what is the standard of the service here. In some Korean restaurants, the staff would actually assist the customers barbecue the food instead of cooking it ourselves. As I see most of the customer cook it themselves so I expect that would not happen; however, the table next to us did not cook it for themselves and the restaurant staff actually help them to finish cooking all the barbecue Meats.
