Very frustrated with Klinic, where public health isn't public. My boyfriend is a patient there and I wanted to start seeing the same doctor as him. We asked if I could be added as a patient and they told us that I had to call the doctor referral program and be referred. When I did that, they denied me because my boyfriend and I don't live together, and I do not live within the catchment area so I can't self-refer. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years and think it would be helpful to see the same Dr. Today I came in with him for an appointment. My own doctor sent me for bloodwork so I thought I could do it at Klinic while I was there. Apparently not. They sent me across the street to another medical clinic, one that recently got rid of its lab. Klinic's lab is for Klinic patients only, and they refused to take me as a patient previously. This seems detrimental to their mission statement of being a community, public health facility. The nurse my boyfriend saw spoke of how they want their patients to be with them for life. But what about the patients they don't want, that they have turned away?

This is a great Place, I can not tell you how much they have helped me. I saw a lot of councilors in other areas of the city, and when I went to KLINIC , i found a councilor that actually "got me". They truly care, They can deal with depression, anxiety, PTSD, abuse etc.. Very thankful for this place. The Crisis Lines are there to help. Sometimes you just need someone to talk too. I can't thank this place enough

Great service, especially for a public health clinic. Prompt reception and polite receptionists who are happy to answer questions you have. Offers trans health services, very informative program with thorough briefing. They make the process of transitioning virtually painless in terms of the effort you need to exert- you don't have to reach out to any other providers or professionals or seek referrals and you don't get run in circles or questioned. Very valuable as a trans autistic person. I feel very welcome and I love Dr Rhea to bits- would definitely recommend seeing her! Very friendly.

Klinic community health provides wonderful service with very reasonable wait times, a variety of programs and walk-in options, as well as appointments. They cater to everyone, are a multicultural business, and do NOT discriminate based on your race, size, age, weight, or gender. Their specialists and providers are very professional and helpful, and do not offer anything they aren't capable of providing. They are very accommodating and have an extremely high volume of patients each day. The staff are very easy to communicate with and are polite and informative.

I have waited MONTHS to speak to a doctor regarding getting an approval for my GD to prescribe me medicine that I need. I've taken days off of work for appointments that I've made to sit down with a doctor there and have an intelligent conversation about said medication that they "have no experience with" despite this medication being studied globally. they have LIED to me about reasons why they've cancelled my appointments without my consent and after 2 years of dealing with them I still am not getting the help that I need despite being educated enough to spoonfeed them the required scientific information. I'm still waiting...

The drop in programs here are absolutely amazing. I've never felt so genuinely heard and not judged in a medical setting. Highly recommend!

Amazing nurses and staff but HORRIBLE doctor. was referred by one of the very sweet nurses to see a doctor here as I was a regular at the clinic but had no family doctor. The nurses, techs and staff here are amazing but my apt. was completely abysmal and a waste of my time. Doctor showed up 20 minutes late having not read my file, asking questions that are clearly on my health record, recommended prescriptions I had already received from a nurse, and responded to my concerns by saying I’m young so he β€œthinks” I should be okay. My nurse referred me to him because she was worried but he was lazy and, only spoke to me for 5 minutes and did not even refer me for a blood test. Completely careless and exactly the type of practitioner I would advise young women especially woc to avoid. Only giving 3 stars because the rest of the clinic staff are sweet and diligent but that doctor would get a ZERO from me. Great for a walk in not for regular visits.
