Kira touches on such a difficult topic that many of us silently suffer from in in our lives... Her book "Aches, Pain & Love" is absolutely wonderful, and I laughed (she uses lots of humour throughout the book); used my high lighter (so many great tips I wanted to remember); felt true heart ache because of what pain does to a person (she is warm & open --both in her book and in person-- as I attended her talk at Banyen Books) ;and completely related to many of the chapters (but you don't necessarily need to be sick to gain knowledge and strength from her book).

L	Laura on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've had a few Therapists/Counsellors over the years and I've found Kira to be the best due to a few reasons. Firstly, she provides you different "tools" to add to your "toolkit" to empower you to eventually become better and improve. There's different tools that work for everyone, and I've been vocal that some of the "tools" she's provided me just don't fit me. She's been able to shift her approaches to tailor more to how I am as a person. Secondly, I've found that I can talk to Kira about any issue (big or small) and she does not disregard my opinions. Thirdly, you can book as much or as little sessions with her, and there's no pressure to re-book every week etc. Lastly, I've found speaking with her to be very intellectually stimulating and professional. She's always there to listen and jump in if there's anything you need. She speaks in a professional manner and is very eloquent. Only thing I'd warn is that her waitlist for new clients are usually very long (it took months for me), so be sure to follow her website instructions if you want to go to her as a new client. I've seen her online due to COVID-19 and she does everything in her power to make it personable (i.e. camera on, attentive, etc). Finally, I hope you go to her with the open-mindedness to talk through your thoughts, be ready for Kira to ask questions and help you grow. You really need to be open to change and improvement for her to best help you (in my opinion) :)
