Beautiful walking trail up to the trestle, it really is an awe-inspiring structure. There are lots of lookout points where you can enjoy the beautiful view

1km walk from the parking lot to the trestle. Kids can run free there, they loved the view - and so did we! Washrooms at the parking lot and again just passed the trestle.

One of the tallest free standing timber rail tresle, nice views and we had a great time with our family and friends. The hike was just 1.2km and good.

At first I was skeptical about the Trestle. What can a trestle offer? Turns out, quite a bit!! The Kinsol Trestle was used for trains long ago. After that, it was completely changed into an attraction. There are many really nice trails all around the trestle and I think it is difficult to get lost, partly because you can see the trestle most of the time. So from the parking lot (there is one on each side of the trestle) you have a short walk to the trestle - which is very long and very, very high up! The trestle iteself is super solid, and lovely to walk on - quite wide and safe. There are little viewpoints along it, so you can see down and out into the forest and water. So there are lots of photo ops! The trails are fun to walk and because there are numerous trails, you don't run into tons of people. You'll certainly see lots of people, but it is a nice experience!! You can go down to a stream, which was crystal clear and so picturesque!! You can take bikes there and if you have kids they will have an absolute blast!! Adults will also have a blast!! The construction of the thing is marvelous to see, and the nature surrounding it is lovely, too. It's a nice morning or afternoon activity!!

Great family fun spot West Coast style. Should have another sign of a map of the trial area not just at the parking lot, especially for visitors not from our local area. Also, there isn't a gate to contend with for access after hours. Easy difficulty. Cheers

What a great place to visit. It's an easy 15 minute walk to the trestle, and wow, is it worth it! If you can handle the walk to the bottom, the structure view is incredible. How the trestle was built is awe inspiring. Good info on the placards at the north end.

This was a super place to visit, the work put into restoring the park area is amazing and provides the public with an excellent experience. My father bright me here a long time ago, before the work had been done and it was an interesting sight. I took my tourist partner here in 2022 and the visit have is both a much better time. The most difficult part was finding our way here. I saw a sign on the road which started it all, and I eventually had signs guiding me correctly the whole way here. The difficult part was the distance between the signs. So it isn't too difficult - just stay on the main roads and look for signs! The parking lot is pretty big, the trail is easy walking or biking, and the Trestle is fantastic. I was very happy with the hike and the adventure on the Trestle. It was about a kilometer of walking, each way, but a very easy stroll. The experience in person can not be matched with simple photos, you need to check it out yourself.

The main pathway is smooth and even, very accessible. The bridge itself is in good condition, with strong rails (my youngest daughter felt safe - she doesn't like heights), and the view is excellent. Beautifully quiet and peaceful. Once over the bridge, there are lovely winding trails along the rapids and through the forest. We came across a cute little waterfall while geocaching on some side trails - it was worth the steep climb!
