L	Lisa Fraser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was pretty good. We were seated quickly, the waiter was attentive and friendly. And if you are staying at the hotel you get a discount. No complaints there at all. The food however left something to be desired. I had the salmon and my friend had fish and chips. The salmon came over cooked, which they were very gracious in offering to make me a new piece without complaint. They also left me with my plate so I was still able to eat away at my vegetables while I waited for the new piece. My friend did not make a formal complaint but the batter at the ends of the fish were hard as rocks and he only ate half his meal. When my second piece of salmon came out it was cooked properly but really lacked flavour. My impression was that nothing was fresh, it was all frozen...including the vegetables. Using fresh ingredients would have made all the difference I believe. Again, service is really good but I would not come back again to eat a proper dinner.

But they had different staff running the front of the house, service was not up to my usual experiences, we usually come at least every 2-3 weeks. Food was also only mediocre really disappointed, I tipped but couldn't justify giving them much.

We ate more than half of the meal but only due to the franks red hot. Nothing was seasoned enough; it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The coffee was basically hot water. The service on the other hand was really good; we were seated fast, got our order in right away and food was hot/served quickly.

Surprisingly it offered decent gluten free options at no extra cost. The menu didn't indicate what was gluten free but upon asking the server was above to identify several options. #localguides
