The preschool room at the Kinder Kollege daycare offers many areas to be discovered by young children. Every area allows growth in all learning aspects for a young child including creative, physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development. The preschool room provides a music and reading corner, water and sand sensory tables, a dramatic play area where there is a play kitchen, market, restaurant, and a building/construction area. A loft where children can climb up and rest among pillows for relaxing and reflecting is accessible. Table and chairs allow tabletop activities as well as a place to sit and eat two healthy snacks; one in the morning and one in the afternoon, as well as lunch. Here children can socialize and learn about how important nutrition and a healthy diet is that can be followed throughout their lives. A fenced area is located just outside the room where children can play freely and enjoy physical exercise.
