★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great stop for any last minute things forgotten without going all the way to Parry Sound prices are reasonable.
Staff is knowledgeable and always friendly, I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. At least once a summer we play the mini golf course, it's rustic but fun! You can take your time and stay to hang out after for an icecream or piece of pizza. Home made fuges is also a hit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I buy boat gas here when I absolutely have to and can't spare the time to go into town. But be prepared to pay 20-30 cents more per litre than at any other gas station.
This is all I buy here and all I ever will.
Why......well for 35 years I've been coming to a cottage in the area and each and every time I go into this store the owner would have his staff very obviously linger and hover over you while you browse, treating you like your going to steal something.
I get it with the park being there and a high volume of campers in and out that theft would be an issue, but I resented being treated like that and it was always sooooo obvious.
So I use the store down the road for everything and have for years and have never, not once been followed around like a theif. They may not know my name but they remember my face and treat me like a valued customer.
Killbear mall treats everyone like a tourist to be mistrusted instead of a customer to be valued.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going to Killbear Park for 10+ years and always use the Killbear Park Mall, highly recommend these guys as we always receive the best customer experience for all our camping needs. Not like those guys down the road at the Detour Store, their always miserable and rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not enjoy dealing with the staff (the older guy anyways), or his pushy nature to pay by debit for his jacked prices. Save yourself the aggravation and visit the Detour Store a couple of minutes down the road. You'll be glad you did.
