★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As far as I'm aware this is the tallest slide in Lacombe. It also has a much smaller one too. The large slide is not suitable for littler kids and unless you can climb up a rope like ladder, there is no way to access it easily. My 6 year old went to the top and chickened out. But she wasn't able to climb down herself so she eventually got up the courage and went down. It actually wasn't that fast, but definitely steep at the end.
The only thing I wasn't super keen on is this metal grate at about a 45 degree angle under the rope ladder. If your kid looses grip on the rope ladder and falls when they are climbing up they are going to hit this. Not sure why they chose metal or something at such a steep angle because not only would the kid hit something hard but also take quite a tumble. I'm all for kids being allowed to take risks but I just think it doesn't seem like the wisest design. Maybe something for parents of younger kids to be aware of.
