I work at The Murray Hotel, one of the places Kenstone properties owns. I have seen the Murray go from a okay place to work and live to a unsafe gang run building because of the choices Kenstone has made.

I live at the Murray, or at least until the morning I do. From what I understand I may be evicted by the sheriffs come morning. The reason for my eviction is unproven allegations. I repair laptops and phones and resell them. I was caught with 60 broken phone and as many Broken laptops. If I suspect something of being stolen I do my best to return the items. I have without a doubt returned more wallets and phones then anyone in the history of this country.. I paid for these items out of my own pocket. I have received gratitude from the owners, thw VPD and from many visitors to our city. I am a pacifist who values life to the fullest.. everyone's life. I was the original person to start carrying Narcan at the hotel. Saving over 50 lives in a one year period. I also buy weapons to get them off the streets, usually knives and thay type of thing. I do this so innocent people do not get hurt. Repeated requests to the authorities for assistance to get rid of some of these items were ignored. I still have copies of my emails to them asking for help. Furthermore the management rescheduled the front lobby staff so there was nobody on duty from 4-8am. The time of day when property crime is most apt to take place. The first year of that change I endured 4 home invasions, I lost well over $150,000 I'm cash and property. I was actually told that if I was a victim again I would be evicted. The only time in my life I've ever been robbed and it happened 4 times in one year but not once since they put staff back on during the early morning hours. We have a great shortage of bathrooms here..made worse by the many plugged toiletoilets. I love on the second floor where we have not had an operating shower in months. 3 of the 4 bathrooms on our floor have been out of commission for approximately 2 -3 months. One of the staff here actually stole 2 costly laptops and a cellphone from my place and sold them. When I complained I was called a rat. I've decided that the moment I am evicted I will due kenstone properties for the trauma and the losses i suffered in the home invasions. Our last manager was a crack addict who often spent his nights in the company of rental girls. He'd get beligerantly drunk and start arguments with tenants. Shortly after moving in here 5 years ago I was attacked by 5 people. Because I tried to help a couple incurred ladies by going to alert a tenant that these ladies waited outside for them. I was robbed that night as well. The attacker is presently doing 10 1/2 years for attempted murder on the lady who i tried to find for the two injurred ladies. For being a victim and trying to help others my two dogs and I are being evicted. 52 yrs on this earth and I'm going To be homeless for the first time in my life. Thank You KenStone properties. Kenstone, The worst developer I ever seen! poor quality building and not responsible for the deficiency. My unit has problem with the dish washer, dryer, washing machine, doors, and toilets within 5 month after completion date. They use all the cheapest material to build. The toilets caused MANY flooding in our building! Our building insurance is super high now! Super disappointed and won't recommend to any people to buy from them! Never expect anything from them. Will disappointing you .
