★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kelowna Yacht Club is a beautiful wedding venue with so much charm. Located on the share of the Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, the backdrop could not be more beautiful with a nautical feel, of course. The reception space is nice and open with large windows allowing for so much natural light and views of the lake and mountains. The food is great and the people are very accommodating. A great wedding venue!!

One note: this place is only open to private members. I got here since I was invited to participate for a research and was rewarded with a free lunch ?
So I ordered the Halibut Fish and Chips. Boy, the fish was crispy and delicious, and the meat was juicy yet fresh. Not too tasty too and I liked it. And the fancy atmosphere was a wonderful addition to the dining experience.
The only drawback? The price. Expect about $15+/meal on average; that being said, however, I think the price justifies the taste and atmosphere—not to mention the beautiful pier view right outside the Meeting Lounge!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The process of booking the kayak online, and the follow up on the day of the rental was streamlined and efficient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about safety without being patronizing. All the gear was available, and they even offered a life jacket for our dog. If you're looking for a reasonably priced old school watersport experience, then Kelowna Yacht Club can provide that.
We were stoked to learn that for $75/year we can store our own kayak or canoe at the Club. That would make it worthwhile for us to buy our own since we're only a two minute walk from the dock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! The staff are so friendly and easy to work with! From the Yacht Club staff to The Galley Cafe staff it is first class all the way! The Galley has local shops featured in the cafe like Chai Baba Tea, Cherry Hill Coffee, QB Gelato, and so much more! My favourite thing they have is To Go Charcuterie Boards in the summertime for all your Okanagan or Kelowna adventures!!
